This summer I had the absolute pleasure of directing a full set recording for @shambhala_mf x @illenium . I’ve been working along side Shambhala for 4 years now. It all started last summer at Forest when we got randomly connected and I got the amazing opportunity to capture his honeycomb set. Here we are just shy of a year later doing big things together. Sooo I don’t really have words right now but I officially have my US visa.. 🇺🇸.
This journey that started as a passion project quickly turned into my life, then a career and honestly I don’t know where I would be today without it. I picked up a camera for the first time over 7 years ago now and I wake up every day with purpose and meaning in my life.
I dropped out of university after 1 year. Feeling like I had 0 meaning, 0 purpose, and 0 motivation. I always say how lucky I am to have found passion for something I love so much.
This visa marks a new chapter in my life. A moment to stand up and just take a breath and take a step forward every day into the unknown without fear because I am so certain that if you meet faith in the world with hard work, the world will always have your back.
I added a photo in this carousel from one of the first shows I shot in the basement of some bar in Guelph back in 2019. Crazy how much can change in 6 years if you stick to something every day and put your heart and soul into it.
To every single person that has given me space to learn, create, and evolve my craft and relationships in this space I say thank you, I love you. Couldn’t be more thankful for the supportive friends and family I have the absolute honour of surrounding myself with. So excited to see what the future holds. Cheers!
