DAY 42 / 365: Camera vs iPhone. Can you spot the iPhone clips? 👀
What’s wild is most people still think you need a massive cinema camera setup to create cinematic footage… but the gap keeps getting smaller every single year. The truth? Lighting. Movement. Composition. Color grading. Those matter more than the camera people think you’re using.
Every iPhone clip in this video was intentionally shot and color graded to blend seamlessly beside professional camera footage and honestly, that’s the point of this series. Your phone is already powerful enough to tell incredible stories. You just need to learn how to use it differently.
Shot while staying at the beautiful casitas at @fairmontmayakoba overlooking the Riviera Maya in Mexico. To date, it’s one of the most inspiring places I’ve had the chance to create in. 🌴
So… did the iPhone fool you? 🎥📱Comment which clips you think were shot on the iPhone!
Day 41 / 365: The Best Camera Is Always With You! 📱✊
This video? Yeah… this one’s for the Experts Only 😏 But really, it’s about realizing you don’t need more gear. You just need to start shooting. When your phone is always on you, you stop overthinking and start catching the moments that actually matter.
@expertsonlyfest in NYC with the @kasablanca boys and the best crew @theclayprice@door.24 🎥 This was a 48-hour whirlwind and back to back shows with some really amazing people. Met @johnsummit after his surprise set which made it all the more surreal. 🗽🎶
The boys are headed to Europe this month, so this felt like the right one to bring back. Just getting started. 🌍✈️
Follow along as I go 365 days teaching you how to shoot better videos on your iPhone 📲 🌍🌟
Day 39 / 365: POV without the gear 🎬📱
No rig? No problem. Today’s pro tip: using your iPhone case as a DIY POV mount. Slip the case under your shirt, lock your phone in, and you’ve got a clean, natural POV without carrying extra gear. Simple, lowkey… but it hits.
Filmed this mid-cut and yeah, we had to give @tarucuts the Godfather treatment 🤌🏽🎶😂
Not just cutting hair… making cuts. From student of the masterclass to becoming the master real soon.
Shoutout Taru for the craft, and @iamdroneprof for the extra B-roll sauce.
“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse…”
Start shooting with what you have. More reps. Less excuses. 🎥🔥
Day 38 / 365: thawed out just in time 🧊🎬
Been a minute… had to defrost for this one. Shot entirely on an iPhone. We layered in some CGI after, but the magic started with pressing record. That’s the reminder… it’s supposed to be fun first. Everything else follows.
Grab your phone. Link up with your people. Make something real, in real life.
Let’s get back to it. 🎥🔥 @champagnepapi
BCKYRD festival 2025
My first festival where I got to lead the video team and co produce alongside @francofps . Insane opportunity for the team to create some epic moments with some of the best in the industry, @diplo , @frankwalker , @knock2music and more.
Special thanks to @inkevents and @kurthoop for the continued trust and partnership. On to the next!

VELD 25 was my third year leading the video team —and it honestly meant more than ever. The best lineup. The best team and crew. Every year brings its own challenges and humbling lessons, but this one felt special in a way I’ll never forget.
Watching the @door.24 crew come together and deliver on every level genuinely moved me. It’s the moments in between —the laughs, the late nights, the onsite CATERING lol, and the friendships that now feel more like family. Being part of this festival year after year has become so much more than just a job —it’s a reminder of how lucky I am to do what I love, surrounded by people and creatives who inspire me every single day.
Thank you to @kurthoop@farhadgucci and @domenicmorabito for the continued partnership and trust. Time to put together the most EPIC aftermovie!!
Day 37 / 365: Filming a masterclass… from the backseat of an @uber 🚗
Today I’m showing you how to get cinematic shots on the go—literally. No excuses, just angles. Follow my EXACT steps and don’t forget to drop 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars in the comments below for me and my Uber driver Mirza. I was only able to give him 5 on the app—so he said he’d appreciate the extra star down here. Let’s make it happen. 👊🌟
Day 36 / 365: Mastering Burst Mode 📸
Missed the perfect shot? Probably because you’re still tapping the shutter like it’s 2010 🤣
Let me put you on game: Burst Mode. Hold down the shutter, and your iPhone turns into a high-speed photo machine—perfect for action, movement, or that one split-second when everything aligns.
Also—ran into my friend @durothethird and his doggo by complete accident while filming this episode 🐶😍 Felt like the universe gave me the perfect scene to show you how Burst Mode works in real life but of course, I ran out of storage mid-shoot. Classic. 🤦🏻♂️🤪
DAY 35 / 365: Never Run Out of Ideas AGAIN! 💡
Don’t blink —I’m swiping through my actual notes filled with iPhone content ideas. Screenshots, scraps, sparks of inspiration —the blueprint that changed EVERYTHING for me is right here. Steal a few. Use them. Make them better. This is how I never run out of ideas 🔥🔥🔥
DAY 34 / 365: Color temperature isn’t just technical—it’s emotional 🎨🌡️
Warm = nostalgic, intimate, & cozy
Cool = distant, tense, corporate, & professional
But here’s the thing: your iPhone won’t let you fully control it by default. That’s why understanding the theory matters—so you can recognize how light affects mood, even if you’re not manually adjusting it.
Because mood starts with color—and color starts with you knowing what to look for.

DAY 33 / 365: Creative Camera Angles 101 🤳👌
We’re back after a brief hiatus. Sometimes you need to pause, reset, and smell the spring flowers to come back stronger 🤣🌸 Let’s keep building. Today we’re diving into the building blocks of cinematic storytelling: wide, medium, and close-up shots. I promise, MASTER these angles and you’ll start seeing the story before you even hit record! 🎯
