#MeetThePuppeteers Get to know Thalya David who portrays Brown Nurse Doll and Sarah!
Thalya I. David (she/her @basiiiq ) is a Haitian-American actress from Florida with a BA in Fine Arts at Broward College. In 2017, she moved to New York to continue to pursue an acting career and received her BFA in Acting at Marymount Manhattan College(2020). She worked in Love and Information at the Live Arts (MMC off campus production) , Man-I-Festo (on campus and at Manhattan Repertory Theatre). Started puppeteer with Maria Camia’s Healing Shipment (2022-2023). She has the pleasure to work with Alva Roger’s Doll’s Palace (2023)

•30• The birthday week of freshly being funny 30! Uncut no edits like my life so far. I say my age with pride because 20s was about catching up and discovering who I am. I was a very sheltered gyal in the suburbs. I’ve let people dim my light my sparkle( as my bestie said in my birthday card) I wanted to show my community holding me down. Even my coworkers at WORK sang to me! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 as always thank you for the wishes, thank you for taking me out! Thank you for celebrating me when I was just gonna let it be another day. Mommy said she only believes in GOD not in astrology none sense but at 12 something she said YOURE A LIBRA! So I’m a Libra baby !!! LIBRA SEASON RISEEEEE!
•29• I DID ALL OF THAT AT THE AGE OF 28!!!! What will 29 chapter be? The beginning of this year was absolute shit man. My personal and work life was in shambles. Hit after hit. I really thought it was gonna be harder from there but it has change drastically! New apartment, new work environment, new boundaries and goals to achieve. This is a hopeful post (finally) thank you to my peoples that have been in my life from the beginning and just popped up in my life ! And to my family ? I love you I love you je t’aime je t’aime! The constant support is *chef kiss* all in all thank you !!😊
