Thanks to all my friends family collaborators and people I’ve met in the last year while making this record, it’s been light and easy! Hope it melts down your ears and into your brain.
In November 2022, I saw @ODESZA live with my best friends and was absolutely blown away by their visuals and performance!
After the show, I had the chance to chat with @landistanaka , one of the artists who’s been with ODESZA since the very beginning and it was one of the most inspiring conversations I’ve ever had.
Months later, I tried Cinema4D and showed him my first render and told him about the difficulties I had finding time to learn 3D while working the job I had at the time. He shared a quote that stuck with him that “most skills can be learned in under 20 hours of focused work, but we spend years putting off the first hour.”
Well this year, I finally gave myself that focused work time to learn 3D and motion graphics. In the last 7 months, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the craft behind the visuals I’ve always admired.
Inspired by ODESZA’s promo assets for The Last Goodbye finale shows last June, I created this infinite loop visualizer. It would be a dream to work with ODESZA’s team one day and definitely recommend checking out the insane work from: @landistanaka@japanesedad@skytea_@aeforia@steveteeps !!

🍨”Who Loves You” with @betsy arrives today w the announcement of our new EP “A La Mode” - just in time for summer. Each song is meant to feel easy as ice cream and in this song each synth pluck is an airwave arriving to the ear like hot fudge to a cold scoop. With a little magic from Betsy we arrived at a mantra of reassurance, self-love and contentment. Can’t wait for you to hear the rest of these.
