Toro appreciation post 🐈⬛
Two years with this little dude. Toro was just a few weeks old when he was found on the side of a building. I’ll never forget meeting him for the first time, when I picked him up he gave me this look like “please don’t ever leave me” 🥺 and from that day forth we were inseparable. From zoomies to 4AM screeching, braving the outdoors to hiding from everyone we have over, kneading biscuits to begging for string cheese, this lil night fury has unlocked a type of love I never knew existed 🖤
(continued from last post) Our summer fun continued seeing the @odesza show in Palm Springs, exploring Joshua Tree National Park, and seeing @kylekusanagi and @kellykusanagi get married 🌴☀️. We went to Portola music festival in SF and danced under disco lights to over 20 incredible performances 🪩. Some of our closest Seattle friends and family came together to celebrate our engagement, in the same location as our first date🤍🩵. I’m writing this having just wrapped up my first week at a new job, and I’m sooo grateful reflecting on each and every moment. Now, time to relax! 😮💨😴
Summer 2023: what a whirlwind! Summer really only started for me in mid July, when countless hours of studying finally came to fruition and I passed the CFP exam 📚. Less than a week later, I went to Hawaii with some of my best friends and the love of my life @basicregular proposed on my 30th birthday 📅💍. From there, we went to Whistler with family and I got to test out my new mountain bike and scope out possible wedding venues 🏔️🚠. We visited Squamish to go to an Arc’Teryx festival with @gilliganmoss , enjoyed Seafair activities by boat and rooftop, and jumped in the lake nearly daily 🚤. We took a houseboat out on Lake Roosevelt with friends new and old, jet skiied and stargazed, then were absolutely star struck seeing the @beyonce Renaissance tour… (continued in next post)
R, I’ve had a crush on you since I first saw you performing onstage over ten years ago. If someone told me in that moment - that’s your future husband- I would’ve thought they were crazy. Fast forward to July 17th 2023 when you asked me to marry you, after the five best years of my life that we’ve shared together, a lifetime doesn’t sound so crazy. Forever yours, K ❤️
