Swipe to see BTS process clips + alternate versions! Hope you like this new one <3
(I used super basic Vellum Fluid + Grain simulations and the connect adjascent node in Houdini to create the abstract shapes in this piece)

Art I made in 2025 - Which one’s your favorite?
I think this was one of my favorite years in a while for personal work. In 2026, I hope to experiment more with my style, do more animations and keep learning Houdini to bring my art to new places. Thanks a lot to everyone who supports what I do year after year, means a whole lot <3 Happy new year, see you soon!
Here’s something different! It’s a piece I made from scratch for my girlfriend as a xmas gift. The mesh was sculpted in ZBrush and the hair was generated using Houdini. I’ve created a handful of different “passes” to make the hair more natural and create variation with the amount and length. When all combined, along with a bit of Octane Scatter and manual placement for the longer hair, it created the fur effect I was hoping for! The artwork is rendered in C4D + Octane. It was a great challenge, hope you enjoy this one.
The alternate version (2nd slide) is inspired by the absolutely fantastic work of sloppjockey_ert !!

My 1st piece entirely made in Houdini! The character base was animated in DAZ Studio, but the sim was created & rendered right in Houdini + Octane. This took a long time to make, but it was a lot of fun! RIP the compression on these 25M particles :’)
I used the velocity attribute to help drive the color and size of the particles. The trail node helped to create the hair-like effect.
Shoutout to my bro @loodious who helped me out on this one! Hope you like this stuff 🤍
