It’s taken me a while to put this into words…
I’ve been trying to say something that hasn’t already been said.
As a designer, Bad Bunny’s halftime stage is hands down my favorite halftime production design to date. I am still completely in awe of the vision, the storytelling, and the execution — all in under 25 minutes.
The pink casita, the concept of crashing into the living room set (even knowing it was pre-filmed), the rooftop transitions, the power lines… the bodega, bar, barber shop, nail salon, white plastic, lawn chairs
— every single detail was intentional, layered, and culturally rich. Nothing felt random. Everything felt lived in.
And seeing pieces of my culture represented on a stage of that magnitude? Absolutely surreal. 🤯
From the coconut stand, sugar canes, palm trees, snow cone cart, banana trees, ppl playing dominos, the Caribbean sports bar — 😭😭😭to seeing my families homeland flags 🇹🇹 🇻🇪 and mine 🇨🇦 — it was beautiful, powerful, and deeply meaningful.
You didn’t have to understand Spanish to feel the joy, pride, and unity radiating from that stage.
Congratulations, Benito, on an extraordinary show. 🙌🏽
