From New Student Orientation to activities across campus, it was great to see new and returning students connecting, exploring campus, and kicking off the term together.

Welcome to Spring Term, BVC!
A weekend full of creativity, collaboration, and big ideas.
This weekend, students from Advanced Game Development, Foundations in Entertainment Arts, 3D Animation, Digital Design, and Digital Marketing came together for a Creative Jam at Bow Valley College.
The challenge? Create an animation for a mystery client — revealed to be Calgary Airports.
From Friday afternoon to Sunday, five student teams worked against the clock to develop and pitch animation concepts that could potentially be seen by nearly 20 million people a year at YYC.
Congrats to the winning team, Idea Labs, and to every student who brought creativity, collaboration, and innovation to the weekend.

Last week at Bow Valley College, we celebrated the creativity and innovation of our students at the Digital Design and Software Development Graduate Showcases.
From visual storytelling and design projects to live demos and real-world software solutions, our graduates showcased the work they’ve developed throughout their programs — including projects created for real clients.

Our talented finalists took the stage to deliver their best 5-minute business pitches to a panel of esteemed industry judges and representatives from Alberta’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
