Last weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sensei Nichel (@primaryperception_music ) from @trigun_audio to our studio in Stuttgart for a two-day workshop. Topics ranged from calibrating the soundcard with the mixing desk, proper gain staging in the analog and digital domains, recording with a good signal-to-noise ratio, all the way to the secret saucy tips and tricks of mixing to get the most out of your tracks. But that’s really just scratching the surface. Since it can be incredibly humbling to record and “mix” your own tracks without the proper knowledge, especially when working with a full analog studio, it seemed crucial for us to have someone with a solid understanding of the matter come over, guide us through the process, and refine what was missing. Not only is Nihel an all-around good guy with deep knowledge of the technicalities of it all, he is also a musician first and foremost, which really showed in the way he taught us to set an emotional direction for each track before mindlessly tweaking sounds. Conveniently, we have our own PA set up in the other room of our studio, so we were able to listen to the final product (a track by Dimi & Vincenzo from 2024, soon to be released 👀) on a proper system right away… and ooooooooh lord, were we blown away (as seen in slide 6 lol). Since he custom-built the workshop around our specific studio, we can hiiiighly recommend it to every producer who feels confused by the billions of opinions and self-proclaimed experts on the internet. Give Nichel a call and make use of his very unique service. It boosted our confidence to finally (after almost 10 years of hoarding music 🙄) send out the tracks and let our babies see the light of day 🥺 In that sense, thank you, Nichel, for sharing your wisdom and for all the patience ❤️‍🔥 Best, you Basement Boys

2025 was full of wonders. thank you to everyone who crossed paths with us and helped shape our 10 year anniversary into what it became. in 2026 we shift our focus and pour our energy into a few special projects we’ve been holding close for a while now. you will hear about them early next year. until then, stay safe and keep the spirits up 🪔♥️

We’re still in awe of what went down last Saturday in our beloved little backyard. @super___venus took over with three hours of pure dancefloor extravaganza, the kind of set that kept us locked in and thinking twice before leaving for a drink or the toilette. @baby_tooth___ and @deldimi steered the floor with dedication & style beforehand, laying the foundation for a night that felt really really special. At the end it was the collective energy of everyone present that made the evening what it was really… A perfect ending to this year’s Echo Garden season, filled with memories that will carry us until the next one. After her mesmerizing appearance as part of the @faciendo_soundsystem at Studio Amore earlier this year, we knew we had to bring her back. 🌿🎍🌱 This time, solo, with that distinct sound she carries: raw, unpredictable, hypnotic 🪸 Just recently she wrecked havoc at Beautiful Freaks in Brussels, did her magic at Closer Kyiv and whooped asses at the last ICKPA Open Air in Berlin. @super___venus has been weaving her way through the underground with an edge that’s hard to define and impossible to forget. An honest music aficionada on & off the dancefloor, she leaves her mark every time she shares the music that is dear to her heart. 🧡 And since they’re still in sync after their 9-hour b2b for Motel Casablanca a few weeks ago, @baby_tooth___ and @deldimi will handle the first 4 hours of the evening. Took us a minute, but here it is. 🌿 Some hazy low-res footage from our last Echo Garden sessions with @surreal_domain & @deldimi behind the decks. Still feels like yesterday: hazy light, loose limbs, and that slow-building joy under open skies. We had to skip last weekend’s dance due to the weather, but the forecast is looking kind. Tomorrow we share the details for the final backyard gathering of the season, one more for the memory box 🪔🪔

Thank you, @studio__amore , for giving us a home these past two years — a space where we could stretch our wires, push our speakers, and gather the tribe for countless nights that still echo in our heads. 🪔 Closing it down with our Basement Operations floor felt right: 22 hours of deep dives and high spirits, carried by @veragoesdeep - @nausicaation - @dorian.mast & @davsti - @ilk_____y — and each and every dancer who stayed until the last record hissed out. ❤️‍🔥 Magic happens when the right people and the right sound meet the right room.
