Bassel Shalgheen was selected from our Open Call! He is a theatre-maker and dramaturg based in Germany. He has worked in Syria and Lebanon, and recently between Berlin and Leipzig. His work explores questions of purpose, meaning, absurdity, and the everyday life. His work in theater increasingly focuses on the body as the primary space for expression.

Zeina Dayoub is an interdisciplinary artist from Syria and is currently in the final stages of completing her diploma in Arts and Media at HGB Leipzig.
Alongside her work as a tattoo artist, she has participated in projects across performance, video art, and painting.

Non-ego is a movement performance and social experiment that invites participants to become part of the interactive process, taking an active role within the experience through their own choices. In this moment, we share questions about our emotions, and the performance unfolds differently depending on the participants’ interaction, making each presentation a different experience unlike any other.
