Saddened to hear of the passing of make-up pal Tim Gore - pictured here at IMATS from January 2013 when Tim snagged me to lend a hand with a make-up demo he was doing.
Tim was a key member of the Spectral Motion team for HELLBOY 2 and I often applied with him on the John Alexander Bethmoora Goblin character.
He will be missed….

A few shots of my zombie dancer from the “Thriller” sequence. @bcorso and the hair and costume departments were very meticulous with the recreation of these zombies. We worked from frame blow ups from the original video to match the make-ups as best we could. Only a handful of the dancer zombies wore prosthetics, most were paint make-ups like this one. I don’t believe air brushing was used forty years ago so I did all my application with brushes and sponges. Some great teeth from @tinsleystudio completed the look.

A huge thanks to @bcorso for inviting me to be part of Team Thriller!
We shot for two nights at the end of May, 2024, in the same location used by John Landis for the original Thriller video 40 plus years ago!
Can’t say I spotted my zombie on screen, but he did make it in the bts photos!

Some of my earliest credits were on low budget non-union zombie flicks and now some of my latest credits are on the same.
Shot during the strikes in 2023 this project was a blast working with long time pals @robosquatch and @eddieyangofficial plus a variety of friends like @mark_nieman , @glenpgriffin , @proutyfx and @deckard100 helping out at one time or another! While a few prosthetics were custom built for this show, many of our zombies looks came from @rbfxstudio with additional pieces from @fusionfxshop and @outofkit !

Long time friend and associate @johnblake835 reached out to ME-FX to create a few special items for him for this film, including two “before and after” cheek appliances for Steve Buscemi being shot in the face, as well as his body parts for the wood chipper scene, there’s a full body under that tarp!
