@mini_crisp and Pinarello also had a super week last week representing the South East in the 2* team at the under 18 championship at Bishop Burton. This was the first long format for both Harry and Percy and they were both brilliant, producing a lovely test, clear cross country round a testing course and solid showjumping on the final day.

A successful weekend was had at @burghamht for the Barratt horses. @elizabeth.barratt_ had LVS Movistar, Fernhill Kankan and Georgina W in the 3*. Joey finished 3rd on his dressage score, Gina was double clear and just a flag mishap XC kept Kankan off the leaderboard! @tristramowers and GRS Carina competed in the 4* and had a super first run at this level for the 2024 season finishing with a clear cross country. @roxburghe_eventing had Enigmatik Fidjis AA in the 3*, and Lewi B and Give Me Hope in the 2*, all performing very well. Burgham is such a beautiful place and we are very lucky to be able to compete in locations like this, huge thanks to the team at Burgham for hosting a brilliant event.

7 year old MBF Major Lazor K impressing in his first 3*S to finish 10th with a 28.3 dressage and a double clear with @marciocarvalhojorge . Such an exciting result for this young and inexperienced horse. Linkin Park K and Enigmatik Fidjis AA both also went double clear in the 3*S at Aston.

It’s been a busy week at Aston le Walls gettting a number of the horses out for a run. A big thank you to the team at Aston for a brilliant few days eventing with superb courses and ground conditions. @roxburghe_eventing Lewi B finished on his dressage score of 32 in the novice for 5th place, and Enigmatik Fidjis had a confident run in the OI gaining another clear cross country. @tristramowers GRS Carina had another super run in the intermediate finishing in 6th place. @marciocarvalhojorge Linkin Park K finished 2nd in his intermediate section, following on from a win in the intermediate at Cirencester a few weeks ago. MBF Major Lazor K also had another run at intermediate having stepped up a level at Tweseldown last week, producing two clear cross country’s so far. @mini_crisp had Pinarello out in the ONu18 for a confident finish ahead of the National Junior Chamionships at @belsayhorsetrials soon. And finally @elizabeth.barratt_ had new member to the team Fernhill Kankan out who did 29.5 double clear in the novice.

What a weekend for @saffroncresswellofficial and Vivendi Hero who finished 11th out of 94 starters in the 4*S at Burnham Market International! This was a very star studded section featuring many 5* and championship horses, and at only 9 years old Louis really held his own. A huge well done to Saffron for all the hard work she has put in to him over the last couple of years!

Enigmatik Fidjis AA looking pure class round Thoresby OI with @roxburghe_eventing . Neo was fantastic this weekend and produced a 29.1 double clear in the OI proving how exciting he is for the future. Lewi B and Give Me Hope were both also super at Thoresby, going double clear in the 2* for their first internationals this year.

First visit to @outdoorhorst but certainly not the last! What an incredible venue @peelbergen is! Thank you to @barratt_eventing for the opportunity to take #grscarina in the 3*S. A good early run for this quality mare who will hopefully be stepping up a level very soon. A mention must also go to @isabella_owers who had her first run of the season in the CCI2PS to come 🥈on the incredible little #hoppenhofscandaz owned by @projectponypp 🌟 very proud dad moment and to the best travel buddies @annabellejames2 and @tianacoudrayeventing who had a great spin round the 4*S! #homewardbound #eventinglife

Photo of Georgina W jumping round the intermediate at Lincolnshire last weekend. We also had Lewi B at Lincoln for his first run of the season in the novice and he was thrilled to be out! This weekend we were at Tweseldown with Vivendi Hero finishing 5th in the AI and Give Me Hope having a good run in the novice, while GRS Carina had an exciting week in Kronenburg having a confident run in the 3* before stepping up soon. On to @bedeevents Thoresby next week 🤞

It has been a busy past couple of weekend for the Barratt Eventing team getting the 2024 season underway! At Poplar Park @elizabeth.barratt_ had LVS Movistar in the OI and Georgina W and Dargun in the ON, with all three horses going well for the start of the season. It was also very exciting to have new addition Enigmatik Fidjis out at Poplar with @roxburghe_eventing who had a good run in the OI for his first event on British soil. On to @bedeevents Oasby where @tristramowers had BT Martins Masterpiece in the ON and GRS Carina in the OI. And we were lucky to make the most of the good ground at Tweseldown, where @saffroncresswellofficial and Vivendi Hero did a double clear in the OI, @mini_crisp and Pinarello did a double clear in the novice, and @marciocarvalhojorge and Linkin Park K had one pole and a clear cross country in the ON. @elizabeth.barratt_ also had two double clears round the 100 with Give Me Hope and Iceman III. We are very pleased with how all the horses have started their seasons and are looking forward to the season ahead with this exciting team of horses and riders.
