Tetworth horse trials!
Safe to say a lot better than our weekend at Barbury. Lewi and I got our act together and pulled out one of our best dressage tests followed by a lovely double clear to leave us in the top 15 in a competitive open novice section.
Also so nice to see a new and amazing event being run! Great course, ground and event in general so huge well done to everyone who organised and made it possible!

First event of the season for Lewi and I and it was the best first event Iāve had. Maybe avoiding poplar was a good idea š¤£.
We started with a sweet test followed by a lovely clear SJ and then a steady clear XC. Super proud of how heās come out this year and hopefully sets the tone for a great season.

Itās been a very educational season of getting to know Lewi over 2025. Weāve learnt so much from our mistakes over this season but it all came together at Osberton. We did one of our nicest tests but unfortunately not the score we wouldāve liked. However we finished it off with lovely double clear with only a few time to finish top half in a big and a competitive section.

Lewi flying round Burnham on Friday! Double clear with a 33.3 dressage and a few time to finish 5th in the u18 novice! Really getting to know this little guy now. Heās pretty cool! I still need to do a post on Thoresbyš«
Lewi B in the novice at Tweseldown this weekend.
Had a super run with Lewi over the weekend in our first novice together. He improved so much in such a short time as at poplar we definitely had different ideas in the direction we should be going š. Either way he felt super!

Took Lewi to Felbridge yesterday for a bit of jumping. Really starting to get to know him now and feeling a lot more confident together! Canāt wait for the season to start and see what we can accomplish together!

Introducing Lewi B!
Super excited to have been given the opportunity to ride this lovely horse by Barratt Eventing who have continued to support me and I couldnāt be more grateful to them. Hopefully will get to know Lewi quickly and can start out strong in the 2025 season.
Videos were from today when I took him out to Golden Cross for some SJ practice and he put a massive smile on my face he was so cool!!
First intermediate at Cornbury!
Got a very respectable dressage of 33.2 and took my time SJ and only had one down and then started off super strong in the XC and flew round but just made a silly error at the 3rd fence from home for an annoying 20. However, he still felt amazing and it was a fun day.

Another international completed for me and Percy. On Friday we did not quite get the test we would have liked but we made up for it by jumping a smooth double clear on Sunday. Percy is jumping very well at the moment and hopefully with a little bit of tuning up in the dressage we can go and go well round our first intermediate at cornbury!

Had a great time at BB with the south east team last week with Percy getting a very respectable 33.9 dressage followed by a lovely XC round but just travelling a little slowly. He then tried his best in the SJ but unfortunately rolled a couple poles. Despite this we still finished 15th and as a team got 5th with only 4 riders!
However it is still our first long format competition and he smashed it and I couldnāt have been happier to have been part of a talented team and spend the week with a very encouraging group of people!

An amazing day at Farley Hall yesterday with Percy. We did a very pleasing test and got a 34 then rolled one in the SJ but we werenāt the only ones! Then flew round the XC and finished 4th in our section!
