Another year around the sun! I’ll be celebrating tonight @life.of.nyc 10-5! Here are just some of the cuties in my life who have made this past year so much fun 🩷

Two really important things happening next week… 1) @life.of.nyc on March 20th 2) my birthday :) So excited to celebrate 30 years on this Earth at Life Of on March 20th. Would love to be surrounded by friends new and old and anyone who has been a part of getting me where I am today ❤️ I am SO excited to have the incredible Z@p on the lineup. You can now listen to my Refuge show on SoundCloud! I leaned into the radio show format so you get to hear me talk about some of the tracks in the mix. I drew inspiration from NYC’s recent snowstorm and the life of 12th-century mystic Hildegard of Bingen. It was a great chance to explore everyday mysticism and share some amazing tracks :) track list on the 2nd slide

This year has felt like 2 rolled into one. I’m so thankful for all the incredible moments I’ve experienced. But I’m mainly thankful for all my fabulous and amazing friends. And I’m extra extra thankful to everyone who has worked on or come to @life.of.nyc

On Saturday, October 18, Life Of explores the trippier side of bass and techno. We return to our usual spot with a roster of three international superstars. London-based @__softiii , the head behind deep and heady mix series @cozi______ makes her US debut. Copenhagen’s @dj__jm also makes his debut, bringing his percussive, bass-heavy productions stateside. Our third guest is TBA — a definitive voice in psy-influenced soundscapes, his productions and DJ sets hurtle listeners through bass, breaks, and dubstep at the vanguard of the new Naarm/Melbourne sound. @mui____mui opens the night. The anything-goes selector is a Noods Radio resident and the head of Brooklyn-based party series Techno Casa. She has an instinct for pushing sonic boundaries, effortlessly bridging sensual bass mutations with punchy club hits. Closing us out is a b2b from two DJs beloved in the scene @epicvirgomoment (DJ DEADNAME) and @connorwr0ng . The two share an affinity for colorful, propulsive, high-energy tracks indicative of New York’s contemporary sound. See you on the dancefloor. Life Of is back for a late summer rooftop party this Labor Day weekend 🌞 In addition to our residents, we are joined by special guests Eden Aurelius and Surgery DJ and producer @eden.aurelius explores the softer side of dub techno and bass, with a record of well-developed melodies and atmospheres that have kept listeners between NYC, Chicago, Lisbon, and beyond effortlessly locked in. She plays back-to-back with Life Of’s 320 (@childhoodceiling ) who adds his tinge of minimal, dubbed-out tech. Surgery (@impossibly.awesome.nothing ) makes a guest appearance, taking us through the sunset hours with a foray into early 2000s tech house. Resident @brutal_twink will be heating things up for us with his signature take on bass and DnB. Head honcho @baroque_hoe closes us out with her contemporary take on ‘90s psy-trance and prog.
