Delighted to have joined a talented bunch of Cinematographers from around the world to test and create with the new Arri Alexa super 35mm. Honoured to have collaborated with an amazing local production crew in Lagos, Nigeria led by our producer @aduloju.john
The Alexa 35 launched a few days ago and these are some of my observations;
This is the fastest Arri camera ever made and it also comes with an Enhanced Sensitivity mode for low light conditions.
I’m particularly happy about the colour accuracy, the reproduction of colours is sublime and it works so well for black skin tones.
The Alexa 35 is also compatible with our favourite spherical or anamorphic lenses. The highlights roll off impeccable and the Alexa has 17 stops of dynamic range.
The Alexa 35 also allows you choose from a variety of texture which largely influences how the camera sees the world you are creating.
Kindly check out my next post for some stills of the deliciousness we created with the Alexa 35

Some stories are made to be seen.
Others are made to be felt.
EVI premiered as a powerful expression of both .. bringing together music, performance, and storytelling in a way that holds your attention from the very first frame.
Captured on the Canon EOS C400, the film reflects what’s possible when creative vision meets imaging excellence.. delivering depth, detail, and emotion with absolute clarity.
We celebrate the storytellers behind EVI .. Writer and Director Missy Uyi, Producer Judith Audu, and Cinematographer Barnabas Emordi, for bringing this vision to life.
🎥 In cinemas nationwide from March 27.
