This is something we’ve wanted to bring to life for a long time, and we’re thrilled to finally share it with you.
Designed as the perfect ending to the Bar Chimera experience, the menu draws inspiration from nostalgic sweets, English tea time, and flavors that feel both familiar and completely new.
Croquembouche Cream Puffs. Flan. Strawberry & Kiwi Pavlova. Chocolate Cake.
Classic desserts, reimagined through the Bar Chimera lens that are comforting, playful, elegant, and a little unexpected all at once.
Pair them with a glass from our Madeira library, a White Russian from our bars, or your choice from our curated dessert drinks menu to finish the night.

We recently celebrated the opening of @550Madison ’s new @BarChimera and @COTEKoreanSteakhouse (Cote 550) and today, you can read more about the design from @SamuelCochran in @archdigest !
The dining concept at 550 Madison includes three different restaurants: Bar Chimera, a ground floor Midtown brasserie organized around the idea of the extension of the public plaza with three distinct bar experiences that together create an elegant and convivial environment; Cote 550 in the lower level; and @newyork_sushi_yoshitake , a mezzanine level sushi omakase restaurant coming later this fall.
Each restaurant invites guests into a distinct world and experience; the throughline is how we honored the legacy of the landmark building and the preservation of much of its existing materiality and bold details. We’re excited to bring an entirely new dining experience to Midtown Manhattan—one that extends the lively experience of the neighborhood and public realm to the indoors.

At our brasserie, the 550 Burger blends chuck, brisket, and short rib, layered with white onions, peppercorn mustard, melted white American cheese, and a crisp parmesan tuile all held together by a soft, airy bun.
