BAQVAS has lit up stages and airwaves with sets for Lower Grand Radio, BFF.fm, Neck Of The Woods, Beauty Arts Supply, Arwah Collective, and beyond.

Experience the rich melodies of SWANA and Central Asian through an eclectic mix of Electro Folk, Sythpop, and Funk, curated to transport you through unique musical soundscapes.

@dj.ari.b ; Venmo: ari_b_) is a queer Iranian-American artist renowned for their multifaceted roles as a DJ, dancer, and musician. Their family roots trace back to Khorramshahr in Southern Iran, a region known for Bandari music, which is deeply influenced by African rhythms. DJ ariB's unique soundscape blends high BPM club beats with a rich infusion of Dabke, Bandari, and tribal club. They regularly perform at clubs and DIY venues throughout the Bay Area, captivating audiences with a diverse range of genres, including techno, footwork, drum, bass, hiphop, house, and more. DJ ariB hosts "The Arts of Sound" of Lowergrandradio, Hyde FM, and Fault Radio. This show higlights electronic musicians from Iran and the SWANA region, reflecting their study of the interconnectedness of the SWANA region through music. "The Art of Sound" blends breakbeat club music with traditional SWANA sounds."
Meena is a chef and maker engaged in multi-sensory storytelling through her food business and product line, called YAAR. YAAR is a pop-up that provides food for the body & soul. Meena explores the flavors and scents of India and Iran through the lens of the diaspora. Food and body crème will be available for purchase, with a special treat for Iftar.
