“Through the breadth of our experiences, we all navigate life with measures of uncertainty. The current moment of history feels particularly untethered, with waves of extremity challenging the tenuous structures we use to frame our external and internal realities.”

Tonight we had the pleasure of hosting Mark Citret for a deep dive into his five-decade career. It was a rare treat to see the evolution of a single image across silver gelatin, platinum, and inkjet prints—a true masterclass in how the medium shapes the message. Mark’s work is a testament to the art of “quietly seeing,” finding profound beauty in the overlooked corners of our world through a lifelong commitment to black-and-white photography. Truly inspired by his patience and his eye. 📷✨
