to be young, gifted, and black. b.s. recording & entertainment industries <3 @bandierprogram these past three years tested me, refined me, and reminded me how much more i am beyond the labels i once placed on myself. being a division i student athlete while pursuing my passion for music, entertainment, and sports wasn’t always easy, but every challenge shaped me into the young woman i am today. to graduate from the #1 communications school in the country as a Black woman means more than i can put into words. i’m leaving here with gratitude, purpose, and a deeper trust in God’s plan for my life. to more growth, more love, more life… & trusting God through it all. deuteronomy 31:6 “do not fear the road ahead, for God walks with you. His hand will guide you, and His grace will sustain you through every trial.” an 🍊 for life!

Still processing this one… Grateful to share that I’ve been admitted into the Bandier Music Business Master’s Program at Syracuse University. For those who know, Bandier is one of the most respected music business programs in the country—built around real industry access, hands-on experience, and direct pipelines into the business. It’s the kind of environment that sharpens not just your knowledge, but your positioning in the industry. Coming from Houston, navigating a path into music hasn’t always been clear or accessible. I had to figure a lot out on my own—taking chances, chasing opportunities, and staying committed even when things didn’t always make sense to the people around me. Every internship, every late night, every risk led me here. This is a step forward for everything I’ve been building and everything I stand for. A chance to level up, expand my network, and bring that value back to my community in a bigger way. Special thank you to Bill Werde for the opportunity and for believing in my potential. New Mission.
