Congratulations to all of our Class of 2026 graduates! we will miss all of you here on campus 🧡. We know you will go on to do great things with your careers and futures!
It’s been a special week as we prepare for graduation that has allowed our graduating seniors and master’s students to spend some time together!
The week has consisted of our annual senior Dinosaur BBQ dinner where each senior received a signed class composite with personal notes from every member of the Class of ’26 as well as our family reception where the families of our graduating seniors and master’s students came together with Bandier faculty and staff for one last time between the two classes.
We couldn’t be more proud of everything this class has accomplished! 🧡🍊
As we say goodbye to our Bandier seniors, here are their Words of Wisdom to the underclassmen. Although their time on campus is coming to an end, we know that the Class of 2026 will all go on to do great things! 🧡

We had the honor of hosting Jeffrey Remedios, Chief Executive Officer of the REPUBLIC Collective, and Joseph Carozza, Executive Vice President, Media and Artist Relations of REPUBLIC Collective as our very last Rezak Lecture Series guests of the semester.
The dominant REPUBLIC Collective, founded by industry titans Monte & Avery Lipman, consists of major labels Republic Records, Island Records, Mercury Records, MCA, Universal Records and Def Jam Recordings. Jeffery and Joseph gave us an inside look at how the REPUBLIC Collective supports and amplifies some of the biggest artists in the world. From shaping media strategy to building long-term artist narratives, their teams play a key role in the success and cultural impact of global stars like Justin Bieber, Chappell Roan, Drake, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande, as well as leading strategy for major cross-platform projects such as Wicked and K-pop Demon Hunters. Hearing about the work that goes on behind the scenes to support artists at that level not just in the studio but outside of it as well was an incredible way to wrap up the semester.
Thank you so much to Jeffery and Joseph for taking the time out of their busy schedules to speak with us! Also a massive thank you to all of our Rezak guest speakers for helping make this semester so successful!
Recent Rezak speakers, Vinnie Ferra, Co-Founder at The Beehive LA, and Sabrina Allen, Tour and Project Manager at The Beehive LA, the touring production company most notably working on live experiences for artists such as Halsey, Gracie Abrams, & Lizzy McAlpine, shared there advice for students looking to get into the live music industry!

Last week, we had the honor of hosting Beth Collins, Co-President of The Azoff Company, at our weekly Rezak music industry guest lecture series.
Founded by industry veteran Irving Azoff, one of the most influential executives in music, The Azoff Company holds a diverse portfolio spanning artist management, catalog investment, royalty collection, and live entertainment infrastructure at the highest level.
During her visit, Beth gave us an inside look into many of The Azoff Company’s most exciting endeavors, most notably Iconic Artists Group, which partners with globally recognized artists like The Beach Boys, Cher, and Wu-Tang Clan to protect and develop their legacies for the future. She also oversees GMR, a performance rights organization that is redefining rights advocacy and creator protection. She emphasized the importance of putting artists and fans first and the idea of redefining your leverage when going into a negotiation.
Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with us, Beth. We are incredibly grateful.

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of welcoming six members of our Bandier Advisory Board to our weekly Rezak industry guest lecture. Each member of the board acts as a mentor and connector, offering program guidance, industry expertise, and real-world perspective to help shape the Bandier Program:
Jon Cohen ‘90 - Co-Founder & CEO, The FADER, Inc.; CEO, Cornerstone Agency; Founder & CEO, FADER Label; Co-Founder, FADER Films
Justin Shukat ‘96 - Partner & President, Primary Wave
Grant Palmer ‘13 - Senior Royalties Analyst, SiriusXM
Margaret Tomlin ‘14 - A&R Executive, Sony Music Nashville
Caitlin Lytle ‘16 - Vice President, A&R, Nice Life
Steve Magee ‘16 - General Manager, ALTER Music
Whether building the infrastructure behind one of the largest music media companies that spotlighted artists such as Kanye West, The Strokes, and Clairo; leading a major music catalog investment firm serving artists like Prince, Bob Marley, and Stevie Nicks; or scouting rising talent across the country, the common thread is that their time at Syracuse shaped their professional careers.
We’re so grateful they took the time to come back and share their insights and advice. This is exactly what the Bandier Program is all about.
