My super talented buddy @cloud_9work has begun his journey to becoming a tattoo artist. It is amazing watching and documenting his work process. He puts in 100% effort in his work and made sure the customer was at ease.
This Halloween flash tattoo is part of his skin donation event. It has a simplistic design but the outcome was neat and professional.
As someone who knows little about tattoo, I can't imagine the stress knowing my drawing will stay permanently on someone's body. Mad respect to Alvin Chan for excelling this job and gaining trust from customers.

Shot this fun video portrait back in April with some good friends. It is a quick shoot for me to practice shot design, directing, editing and color grading.
I tried the @lens.node plug-in, which works really well on the images shot on my SONY A7iii and GM lenses. It added a ton of character and texture on my shots.
Once again, film looks developed with @dehancer.film plays a great part in the grade. Really love the filmic texture and color science they provide. Their film grain is always my favourite element to add on images.

It felt surreal when you told me you're getting married. Like, for real?! High school seemed like yesterday and I still have trouble figuring out tonight's meal.
I guess life happens too quickly sometimes that no one can predict what's coming tomorrow. It was a blessing to witness your love. Taught me a thing or two about how precious the people around me are.
Although I still can't believe you're the first of us, I wish you all the best to all the many years to come, both of you.

Had an blast shooting the annual concert for @jrdigstagram 🎄 Amazing performances and experience!
It's been a while since I shot events so it took me sometime to re-discover what I should do. But it was a lot of fun wandering around catching interesting moments for both the performers and the crowd.
I didn't trust the low light ability of S-log2/3 so I shot everything in HLG3, which provides me a surprisingly well starting point for color grading. And I finally managed to figure out the export settings for social media. The output looks fairly close to my monitor. That was a huge step for me.
It was a great way to wrap up year 2024 with some nice footages and a concert. More WIPs wrapping up, and hoping to get hands on more projects.

"My French Hand" Color graded.
Still at the beginning stage of learning color grading, wouldn't even say I have a foot in the door. I decided to take color grading seriously by the end of 2023 and took up multiple projects as the colorist. Started taking courses, making mistakes, solving problems and most important of all, growing as a filmmaker.
Really blessed with such a talented cast and crew. Thank you so much @thedoetch for trusting my vision and give me full support and creative freedom. I learned a lot shooting and color grading this film. Still a long way to go. Gonna make more cool stuff.
