“You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.“ This a quote that always stood out to me - especially as a wedding photographer. Just like the way we look back at our camera roll and see memories of ourselves and our own loved ones, I can see different parts of my life through the photographs I’ve taken for other people.
To watch the way I observe and what I take from each experience I document. Why the specific thing stood out to me and I felt the need to capture it in a very specific way. It keeps shifting and transforming as I do. It’s one of my favorite things about this industry. But not only witnessing this within myself but so many other talented individuals.
