We’re proud to announce the unification of Studio NYC and @studio_institute as one organization: Studio in a School.
Inspired by our founder Agnes Gund, we remain committed to expanding access to visual arts education and creative careers for all young people.
This unification strengthens our ability to support artists in art education while reaching more students, from 3K through college, and creating meaningful internship and career opportunities for the next generation.
Because when we come together, we go further.
We’re excited to invite you to an upcoming opportunity that brings together career pathways, practical preparation, and connects directly to many of the roles our alumni pursue.

Last week, BAI alumni gathered for an inspiring evening of connection, art viewing, and community building at @elmuseo ! Guests explored exhibitions celebrating the richness and diversity of Latinx, Caribbean, and Latin American artistic traditions while reconnecting in a vibrant cultural space rooted in dialogue and creative expression.
This special night reflects BAI’s ongoing commitment to fostering creative networks and uplifting alumni voices. 💛
We miss these smiling faces! Hard to believe that the Bloomberg Arts Internship 2022 Program is over already. Seems like only yesterday, it was a walk in the park—@madsqparknyc , that is. BAI intern and photographer William Salleres captured this pic of the beaming bunch during a tour of Cristina Iglesias' Landscape and Memory exhibition in MSQP this summer.
Calm, cool, collected—and completely awesome! And even that doesn't adequately describe the demeanor of this summer's Bloomberg Arts Internship Program interns in their final presentations at the closing event last week @BloombergDotOrg . As they say in NYC, "We were kvelling!" Congratulations to all for many jobs well done. And a hearty SHOUT-OUT to the supervisors from our fantastic host organizations across the boroughs who were on hand to share in the glory of the day.
