“I didn’t storyboard. I just brought a stereo sound system on wheels, played songs, and let the models feel them — creating actions and movements in the moment. We did an intense recce to find places slightly off the grid, because we wanted to show people that Lisbon is more than its main tourist spots. It was a very free shoot, as I believe the best ones always are.
