My emotions are oscillating between elation and abject terror but man, am I dying to just throw open the doors and have y’all join me. Making ice cream is fun and eating ice cream is fun (duh), but truly my favorite part is sharing it with you guys. So cheesy but it’s trueeeee.

common aspects - in shared spaces, looking to turn towards each other, finding the parts we already have in common
stepping into the coffee industry was more than just a pivot. it became an entry point of connection. customers taught patience, regulars turned to friends, coworkers laid the foundation of unity
this pop up came from every moment of encouragement from anyone who’d listen to the ideas i’ve had over the years. it meets my love for coffee (or a good bevvy), community, and giving back in one place

Shortage of lemon bar sandwiches so get them while they’re frozen! Lemon ice cream, lemon curd, honey graham cookies. All of the ones that have touched the floor will be going to my husband 😎 NO WASTE BABY.

🚨CHANGE TO FA’SHO DOUGH THIS WEEK🚨
Most ice cream shops that have malted flavors use malted milk powder. We, however, cannot because of the operative word ‘milk’. That has lactose and that’s our #1 no-no. So we specifically use non-diastatic malt to flavor our malted flavors; this type of malt meant for flavoring, not baking. And while diastatic malt powder is annoyingly easy to find, I’ve only been able to find one company that sells what we need.
For whatever reason (gas prices probably), we’ve been having trouble getting our hands on our beloved non-diastatic malt powder the past few weeks. So we’re trying something interesting.
We had just enough malt left for the pints of Fa’Sho Dough, but not enough for the pans. After a lot of stress and scrambling to rejigger the menu, we remembered: doesn’t it taste pretty good without the malt? And the answer is obviously DUH OF COURSE IT DOES. So our pans of Fa’Sho Dough this week will be regular brown sugar.
@fashopao and I would love to hear what you guys think and which you prefer!
