Let’s go! The market calendar is here for our 3rd year of monthly badknees Market Experiments! Applications for both artist vendors and musicians are live on the website. Fill them out ASAP if you are interested in being part of the fun. We are expecting even bigger crowds this year. More and more people are asking and emailing about attending or selling their art or playing their music. If you can attend, great! If you can help spread the word about these over the next six months, that’s a huge help, too. We’ll be pumping money into advertising but you just telling your friends and neighbors about them helps make these great community events! And friendly reminder, these are parties where we try to have fun things for the kids and adults to do. So bring the whole family! The first big market party of the year will be the Steam Roller Print Fest on May 16th put on by @hideoutpress . We’ll be promoting that hard over the next month. If you attended last year, you know how awesome it was. And rumor has it, a bigger steam roller will be in the lot smashing prints this year!

Howdy! We may have been quite today but that’s just because we were hella busy! Despite pushing our event back a day it was a roaring success! Thanks for coming out and supporting your local and greater regional printmakers✨💖✨ A special thanks to @badkneests for being our cohost and a huge supporter of this silly event! Blessings to all our fellow printmakers who deemed our event worthy of their time, effort and in some cases travel & travel expenses. This fest isn’t possible without you! Weather looks bad tomorrow. So we are postponing our big Mini Print Fest and Steamroller show until Sunday, May 17th, 11am-5pm at badknees HQ. Spread the word. We’re excited. Steamroller is here and sun should be shining on Sunday. Free t-shirt printing if you bring your own. $5 blanks available while they last 18 printmakers selling their prints. Live music. Some mini print demos. Stuff for kids. And of course a giant steamroller rolling over art.

🚨✨New✨ Vendor🚨 Joining us from Mount Pleasant, MI itssss : Autumn @xautumnprintsx Autumn started printmaking at Ohio University and like many of us, fell in love with the process. They’re preferred process is intaglio, a being after my own heart💖 they’re inspired by queer ecology. Autumn will be bringing intaglio prints (like the beauties featured here) bags, relief prints, shirts & cards! 🚨✨New✨Vendor🚨 Itsssssss: Forest Steele @steele.works Forest will be graduating this weekend with his BFA in printmaking from Indiana University🥳 Forest got into printmaking via the music scene✨ On the look to have some patches created without any luck he began creating his own relief cut prints to share, we love a resourceful being💖 then took the opportunity to sign up for some printmaking classes at IU and quickly became hooked! He gathers most of his inspirations from punk music, comic books & graphic novels. Often this work includes images of natural motifs. Their partner Ben will be handling their booth while they get down and dirty with us over at the Steamroller Big Show✨ we can’t wait to see what they’ve cut up! 🚨✨New✨ Vendor🚨 Of Cincinnati, OH fame it’s: Stephanie Berrie!! @berriestephanie She’s received her BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design as well as her MFA from Texas Tech University. A kindred spirit who runs not one but TWO print shops: Wild Berries Press and Spit Bite Studios (a collective in Ludlow, KY✨)! Stephanie gets inspiration from nature, horror, microscopic organisms & imagery, and daily existence as being a human on this planet. She loves beasts and creatures. Her work looks like something straight out of Annihilation!
