This came from a doodle I did on a vase in my ceramics class. I’d had the idea for the imagery for a minute. This was my first time spot etching and doing a tusche wash. I printed this using Senefelder’s Gray which was cool as a lithographer because the ink has been discontinued. This is also the last stone I did before graduating from undergrad

I’ve always been a really big TMNT fan but didn’t read the original comics until I was older. I’ve always been fond of Zog and especially liked his story in the comics. Drawing the texture for his scaly skin was a blast

Forest will be graduating this weekend with his BFA in printmaking from Indiana University🥳
Forest got into printmaking via the music scene✨
On the look to have some patches created without any luck he began creating his own relief cut prints to share, we love a resourceful being💖 then took the opportunity to sign up for some printmaking classes at IU and quickly became hooked!
He gathers most of his inspirations from punk music, comic books & graphic novels. We’re very excited to have Forest join us and to see where he’ll go from here☄️
