ā€œTrain Songā€ by Liv feat. Bobcat Opossum Made this sweet little video of a song I wrote in the Amtrak lounge car last fall. I’ve spent a lot of time of the Amtrak over the last few years and cut in some of the gorgeous views for ya! Thank you to Sean and Ellen of @bobcat.opossum for being my dear friends, mentors, and bandmates. Life wiggles all about, but feels simple and easy on the train. This one’s for all the folks I’ve met in the lounge car who have shared their songs, food, games, stories with me. Also @amtrak sponsor me with another month pass please. Video- Shot by @aminkone Sound and Editing by Liv LaFluv (diy baby!) Full Vid on YT #trainsong #amtrak #originalmusic #folkmusic

11 days in minneapolis !! happy happy happy ! I showed up to minneapolis with no idea how I was going to spend the 3 days I had planned there. I was mostly alone, with my bandmates leaving right after our beltane show. It was may day weekend, a time of celebration I had heard about for many years, but had kept barely missing. this year I decided to stay and just see what happened. my friends siess and esther had a bike and a bed and a lot of food to share so I knew I would be safe and fed and could take the weekend as it came. I could have never imagined the joy and connection that was in store. I don’t know the moment I entered a new portal but I suddenly felt like a little seedling breaking ground into spring with a kind giant sprinkling me with water. I continued growing taller for another week following an impulsive decision to stay put. I’ll do some more writing about it on my patreon and substack (both of which you can follow for free - they just feel like a better place for longer writings) but wanted to archive some photos of my time here and yell to all corners my gratitude and love for the humans here - wyrm, charlotte, tuesday, lee, darby, signe, marcos, esther, siess, nat, brady, kyle, laura, julia, olli, bronwyn, and many more new friends. didn’t meet one stranger this week, my heart already knew you all and only fell deeper in love ! minneapolis forever !

āļøPatch Pals for Mutual Aidāļø May 2026 Happy May :) It’s month 4 of my fundraiser project - a monthly patch mailing club where 100% of the proceeds will go to a different community aid effort every month. I write today from Minneapolis, MN where I spent the weekend in awe at every turn with the beauty of the tender and passionate celebration of spring’s arrival that was May Day weekend here. It was a busy and colorful time, and the spirit of resistance poured loudly into the streets and homes. I feel honored to be here to witness the city unfolding the flower of winter’s grief and welcoming the sun by gathering in the thousands to chant ā€œsun, sun, sunā€¦ā€ as a giant sun was paddled across the lake. There is a momentum here that I can’t help but want to throw myself into. Mutual aid is a way of life in the communities I’m hanging out in, and the joy and health is so palpable. My friend Siess invited me to stay at his house another week and I’m so happy to have a flexible job and place to make it possible for me to stay with all the sweet sweet folks here. This place gives me hope and ideas to bring back home, and I’m super inspired to find more creative ways to work for better living for all. If you want to support this project, I’d be happy about that or if you want to bounce around ideas for other ways you could see this project or my home/land/music/art helping a cause you dig, lemme knooo. Next month’s money will support an effort here in Minneapolis, but this month’s is headin back to Bloomington to support Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard - food pantry, community garden, tool library. Sweet folks doin sweet work. Link in my bio for more info on all these things!

āļøPatch Pals for Mutual Aidāļø April 2026 Happy April :) It’s month 3 of my fundraiser project - a monthly patch mailing club where 100% of the proceeds will go to a different mutual aid effort every month. Patches will be a surprise this month, but themed on death and rebirth. In March, I returned to New Orleans, my sweet n feisty teacher and friend. A town where death and rebirth are always visible and presence with life is forced. It is an animal which continues to eat itself and feed itself in a glorious flaunt of color and spice. It reminds me what is possible when you put more fringes on life’s costume. All these words don’t really mean anything other than to say it is a beautiful place and I have so much gratitude and admiration for the people who have made it what it is. I hope you visit, and I hope you give your money to black folks as I see so much of the spirit of new orleans as the embodiment of their drive for life despite a world who wishes to capture and destroy it. I digress. For April Patch Pals will support Common Ground Relief, an organization in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans which operates a food pantry for immediate needs as well as organizing ecological restoration projects to help prevent flooding and improve air and water quality. You can support them directly and learn more via the link in my bio. You can sign up for patch pals via the link in my bio as well. It is a membership tier on my patreon - $11 monthly gets you subscription to a monthly mailing, as well as everything on my patreon - craft tutorials, newsletters, etc. and 100% of proceeds go to a new cause every month! Love to all, may death and rebirth find you kindly.

nottamun town music video out on youtube!! we shot this on a frigid morning in one of our favorite places in the US - the west bottoms of kansas city - a place outside of time. endless clay brick blocks with handpainted advertisements all washed away, a bright yet ghostly playground of doom. we had just a few hours off this whole tour - a mad dash across the country where we were either driving, playing, or sleeping almost every moment. we spent the rare time off trying to make stuff together. The 5 degree weather was bitin at us hard this mornin, but we still had a lot of fun figurin shit out together. our percussionist molly shot it on a phone and our fiddler joe edited it at the library. our first try at makin a music video ourselves :) thanks for watchin ! love, liv
