HORN OF SLAUGHTER
My complete truth is that I feel like Iām always a one woman army, constantly having to fight to protect myself in the every day. It gets exhausting. Horn of Slaughter derives from the idea that within us exists a threshold, a point where repeated pressure and human interaction push us beyond restraint. Push far enough and something more primal emerges. My character Rhino Rex (azize) is the visual representation through a hybrid, otherworldly character, a vehicle to externalise what is often hidden behind biting your tongue. This creature is not seperate from us, but a manifestation of what we suppress. Rhino Rex doesnāt need a weapon, they are the weapon. This is basically my āFUCK YOUā
