BTS of Ella’s Aria, short film 2024 Final Film Project 2, from my Practical Filmmaking BA at London Film Academy. Ella’s Aria is a thriller that takes place in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Ella, a woman in her early to mid 30s, follows her typical daily routine. She comes home with a bag of groceries, turns on the TV to watch her usual Talk Show. However as she starts preparing dinner, she realises the guest star is an alternative version of herself, living her dream life as a famous author. The story follows how Ella mentally tries to grapple with this inexplicable scenario, whilst being confronted with this version of herself who spitefully challenges her mundane Life.
