A long time ago when Victoria and Mitchell first brought this group together someone called us the Jedi League of Alderaan. As a lot of you know there is one scene that is my all time favorite not just in the Miyagiverse, but in all time pop culture and same for this music score being my all time favorite. It’s The ending scene in episode 5 of season 1 of @cobrakaiseries when Daniel LaRusso finds karate and balance again and he puts on the Gi and iconic headband again for the first time in 29 years and does the Kata we all know him for with his iconic triumphant theme playing after he won his first tournament. Last year I re-enacted this scene in my Nightwing and Daniel mashup and I’ll always be proud of it. Now this year I finally re-enacted the scene in my regular Daniel and this time around which I had been trying to do so and finally I have. It is way better executed this time around and I couldn’t be more proud about it. One huge reason it’s so much better because I had Mom film it and had Dad Direct me. Back in the Coachella Valley for my monthly visit. I especially needed my Dad’s computer equipment to get my Badge for Star Wars celebration and it was clutch like Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the World Series last year because “LOSING WASN’T AN OPTION” for me on that after getting robbed of it in 2020 and 2022 because of the shutdown and then and the stupid mask/stupid vaccine policy. Most importantly I found the time to meet up with Mason someone as you know I go back to 2009 with during our Senior year in high school and runs the @jedi_league IG page. This is the first time seeing each other since the ensemble photoshoot in February last year with the AZ Sector. My Dad surprised us with tickets for the firebirds playoff game which so happened to be against The Reign, the Kings minor league affiliate. I just wish I would have brought one of my Kings jerseys 😜 Go Reign Go.

Even though I had to buy the days one at a time and pay $105 extra, but a full weekend is a full weekend. So in the words of my boy, Joe Davis…. START THE PARTY, LOS ANGELES!!!!!

After Wendi and I hit a major reset button especially for standing up for what we believe in, but we always have the people in this picture as well as mentioned in the next paragraph. Before anything else a big shoutout to Caleb and his Dad and especially his Dad for being an extra photographer especially how long Jon-Carlo’s and I’s Batman vs Superman shots took and Wendi didn’t have to stand around and wait. Just Missing Dawny, Mason, and Romanov. While it was a small group this year as Victoria ended up being our handler and holy hell was that clutch. As in Miguel Rojas in game 7 of the 2025 World Series clutch being that I wore something way out of my comfort zone and my mobility was limited and I couldn’t pull double-duty like I used too since we didn’t have Romanov’s Mom or Dawny’s husband so there was no way we would have gotten through the day without her. While I’m De-armored and de-helmeted here. I will officially only wear this suit for only 2 more people now, but it was absolutely and for Jon-Carlo I absolutely had to. I especially love the fact the saber colors were RED, WHITE, and BLUE today 🇺🇸
