When we made “Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle,” I naturally assumed one day it would be the subject of a documentary. Today is that day. Streaming now on Hulu! #haroldandkumar #420 #stonercomedy #comedy #documentary

Heald and I have been suffering major Cobra Kai withdrawals since the show ended, so we decided to team up with @letsbewater and our friends at @gameroompinball to create custom pinball machines for our homes celebrating six seasons of badassery and joy. The show was a labor of love, so why should these machines be any different? Every inch of the design was handled with intent and care by @letsbewater . And just like his fanart, it’s chock full of Easter eggs. The audio callouts feature dozens of deep cuts from the show. (“We should call him Rhea!”, “I am gasoline. Boom.”, “Shut the hell up, Penis Breath!”, “Your karate’s a joke.”, “I got a bat!”, “Bitch, don’t you know I know karate!”) And the soundtrack is the perfect mix of @zrobusa & @leobirenberg ’s brilliance and badass 80s hits featured in the series. (Lots of GNR and Queen!) Playing the game feels like you’re living in Cobra Kai. My family and I are addicted! If you’re ever in the market for a custom machine, I can’t recommend @gameroompinball more highly. Brian was awesome! And if you have any graphic design needs, big or small, you’d be wise to hit up Mark Kerr (aka @letsbewater ). I’ve been a huge admirer of his work for years, but collaborating with him on a project like this was absolutely fantastic. His talent has always been top shelf, but his professionalism is equally impressive. The fact this was the first pinball machine he’s ever designed says it all! This is now my most prized possession. Can’t thank Brian and Mark enough for their hard work! Cobra Kai Never Dies! 🐍 👊 🥋 #CobraKai #KarateKid #Pinball #Netflix #fanart @healdrules @cobrakaiseries @netflix @sonypicturestv

Five years ago, Cobra Kai made the jump from YouTube to Netflix. It’s a surreal feeling when your TV show gets to premiere twice. In 2018, we had a super fun swirl of activity with YouTube — a Tribeca premiere, the Today Show, the Tonight Show, the Howard Stern Wrap Up Show. It was some of the most fun I’d ever had. Ralph even threw out the first pitch to Billy at a Mets game! The Netflix release was very different. No premiere. No real press. Almost no activity. Because like the rest of the world, we were quarantined in our homes. The stakes were high. Most fans thought that one of the reasons we moved to Netflix was because they guaranteed we’d get to make more seasons. But that wasn’t the case. They hoped to make more seasons. But it would all depend on the numbers. If the audience didn’t show up, Cobra Kai would die. But I wasn’t nervous. I was giddy. Why? Because I knew that Cobra Kai Never Dies and our fans were the most passionate, talented, and determined badasses on the planet. I knew they’d spread the word. I also knew that all it would take is one click for a person to get sucked back into the incredible world of The Karate Kid or fall in love with the Miyagiverse for the very first time. The rest is history, but I’ll never forget how much that influx of love and support meant to me and the entire cast and crew, especially during a time when many of us felt so isolated. Hearing how the show served as comfort food for others brought an extra layer of joy that none of us could have predicted. And while, I’ll admit it sucked that we couldn’t gather and celebrate Cobra Kai’s second chance over Coors Banquets and ice cold martinis, I was thrilled when soon after the release, my beloved Mets asked me to throw out a first pitch of my own. Yes, it was virtual, because fans weren’t allowed in stadiums, but that day on a little league field in the Valley, it was my turn to throw to Billy. And we had a pretty good feeling that before we knew it, we’d be back in the dojo again. Perhaps one day we’ll return. I hope so. Because as they say, Cobra Kai Never Dies. #CobraKai #CobraKaiNeverDies #Netflix

Cobra Kai has earned an Emmy® nomination for Best Stunt Coordination. In this clip, Xolo reflects on one of the standout fight scenes, and Ralph Macchio adds, 'It was great cinema.' Looks like the Emmy voters thought so too. Watch the full event on @paleycenter YouTube channel!

So excited for this special day in Mets history as David Wright, DWright, the Captain, Captain America is finally getting his number retired. From the very first day he hit the big leagues, it almost always felt like he was the best player on the field. And even when he wasn’t, he was still that player you felt like you could count on the most during the biggest moments on both sides of the ball. He hit for average. He hit for power. He got on base. He stole bases. He played Gold Glove D. He had the clutch gene. He always played the game the right way. If it wasn’t for his back injury, he likely would have been a first ballot Hall of Famer. And I hold out hope he’ll still eventually get there because those of us who watched him regularly — and all his peers in the game — remember just how special he was, both on and off the field. Thank you, David, for all the years of joy you brought me as a Mets fan — even during seasons when there wasn’t a lot of joy to be had. Thank you also for unsurprisingly being so kind to my daughter, Elizabeth, the couple times we’ve run into you in the stands at Dodgers Stadium. Next time I’ll have to hop into a photo myself, instead of having @joelotruglio playing me. :) Hope you soak in every moment of this well deserved celebration of your incredible career today! Let’s Go Mets — always and forever. #LGM #mets #davidwright

Congratulations to our dear friends, colleagues, and fellow badasses on their well deserved Emmy nominations! Year after year, our Cobra Kai Stunt Team does the best stunt work on television on a shoestring budget. Ken Barefield, Don Lee, and their band of kickass trainers and performers work miracles every season, elevating the martial arts in the Miyagiverse to greater and greater heights. I think it’s safe to say that no comedy in the history of television has had a more impressive stunt season than S6 of Cobra Kai. Here’s to this being the year that our team finally gets to walk on stage and collect Emmy gold! As for Cobra Kai’s score, Zach Robinson & Leo Birenberg have truly made magic since the very beginning. Stepping into the legendary Bill Conti’s Karate Kid shoes would be an impossible task for most. But Zach & Leo charged forward with passion, determined to honor the past while boldly and ambitiously trying to make Cobra Kai’s sound its own. And with the help of hundreds of musicians and a talented crew, they’ve done that and then some! I’m so glad that the Academy is finally recognizing them for our final season. I also wanted to send some love to the rest of our Cobra Kai team. Each and every one of you are Emmy-worthy in my eyes and in the eyes of our amazing fans all over the world! Thank you for all your hard work and many talents over 65 episodes! You are all the best around! #CobraKai #Netflix #emmy #emmyawards #karatekid #karate #film #tv #streamer #movie #action #comedy #drama #romance #music #fighting #stunts
