Back in the Coachella Valley for my monthly visit. I especially needed my Dad’s computer equipment to get my Badge for Star Wars celebration and it was clutch like Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the World Series last year because “LOSING WASN’T AN OPTION” for me on that after getting robbed of it in 2020 and 2022 because of the shutdown and then and the stupid mask/stupid vaccine policy. Most importantly I found the time to meet up with Mason someone as you know I go back to 2009 with during our Senior year in high school and runs the @jedi_league IG page. This is the first time seeing each other since the ensemble photoshoot in February last year with the AZ Sector. My Dad surprised us with tickets for the firebirds playoff game which so happened to be against The Reign, the Kings minor league affiliate. I just wish I would have brought one of my Kings jerseys 😜 Go Reign Go.

While Mitchell and I were coming up with an April Fools Story post for the page, we found it challenging to surpass last year’s joke (we got people real good even our High Council members had a heart attack 😆) However, a random thought occurred to Sensei… what if the AZ sector we were in Knights Of The Old Republic?
Dedicating this post to James Tolkan. If there’s one thing myself, Jon-Carlo, and Mitchell have in common we are the biggest Top Gun fans you’ll ever know.
And for the true DC fans out there you’d know that Nightwing was the same of a Kryptonian God and that’s where Dick got the inspiration from after Clark told him the Story.

After months of trying by Mitchell and I… I finally got our group photo to cooperate with the Grok app. Also the Eagle screech was a perfect add on. A long time ago when Victoria and Mitchell first brought this group together someone called us the Jedi League of Alderaan. From a Star Wars stand point that does sound awesome, but at the end of the day now with the more permanent and loyal group of people we have now compared to then we all love America and are true patriots so I’ll still stick with Jedi League of America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸… The Nor Cal sector can take Jedi League of Alderaan while the Arizona sector takes America. 😉😎

An epic clip Mitchell made for all of us and the song is perfect because this entire group are proud American patriots and the timing of the lyrics is absolutely spot on. Jon-Carlo is the Ultimate Uncle Sam, Wendi’s username is Lady Liberty, Victoria always calls Mitchell “Birdie” so he gets the honor of the Eagle, Victoria is the Ultimate Mother Freedom, as for Dawny let’s just say that Poison Ivy can really make Mother Nature rain down on you, and lastly is me for courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue because all 3 of my favorites in Superman, Optimus Prime, and Captain America are all Red, White, and Blue.

Now for this banner to be page official. Our proud founding, Arizona Sector. With the exception of Dawny (who is a Nor-Cal resident) and Jon-Carlo we were all originally in Southern California. I still am living in Southern California, but Arizona has definitely been a better living situation for them all. A little add on Mitchell and I put on the banner and that is U of A’s Logo with their battle cry, “Bear Down” it’s a perfect battle cry especially the story behind it and U of A is really the heart of AZ. Not to mention Sensei’s sister is about to graduate there in a few months so hence the big support for that school… and WE GIVE NO FORKS.

I’m officially considering Dawny an OG (As is Mitchell) despite her not coming into the picture until 2021 and of course finally meeting her last year. As always this is our proud Arizona sector which Dawny made the trip for and of course Mitchell would return the favor making the trip to Dawny’s 9 months later for the Nor-Cal sector. 😜 other than that this is the finest group of people I ever met and as I said before it was a true honor to finally meet Victoria, Jon-Carlo, and Wendi in person after many years. Dawny and Mitchell have also really helped in terms of me managing this page and I’ll continue to do so for years to come. This is an appreciation to you all and we still looking like Bon Jovi about the drop the hottest mixtape, but I’ll go with Sabaton/Minniva because of the song selection 😉😎

Sensei, here. As most of you know if you’ve been following the page long enough every NYE I take over the page to post about a kickass job our Page Manager, Mason has done all year. This used to the page of an Old Dojo that I made back in 2019, but at the end of 2022 it was his idea to make it what it is now and he’s constructed it beautifully ever since. This wraps up a full 3rd year, but this year was the most special because not only did Mason have a part of my Mentors getting back in the game, but he finally got to suit up with most of us and all of my OGs since 2017 and Dawny who came along in 2021. Most importantly he got to also work with the greatest photographer of all time, Caleb who I’ve known since 2018 and he’s had our backs ever since then. While I hope he gets to suit up with us again soon, but all in all he really enjoys managing this page making all of us look good. In 2019 he did meet Wendi but it was real brief so I’m extremely glad they got to connect properly, Dawny has also been a big supporter in him managing this page and when they finally met the connection was truly there, then of course the 2 I wanted him to meet very badly in Jon-Carlo and Victoria. I talked about the 2 of them with him for a long time and I’m extremely grateful he got to really connect with the 2 of them as was he… here’s to another good year in 2026. No conventions planned because they’re getting hard to manage, but there will be a photoshoot or 2 as always. Which Dawny and I are the organizers on those. Lastly, also a big shoutout to Caleb as we couldn’t do these photoshoots without him.
