A conversation around the table with information designer and illustrator Fabio Salvadori @sass_scimiro featuring graphic works made during his stay at Paskamer (October-November 2024). We will also present his newly printed comic, “Swallow the Toad - Ragnarok”, available to take home, along with tattoos and printed works. PASKAMER and our residents: Fabio Salvadori - @sass_scimiro (now-November, updates soon), Ned Kaar - @nedkaar (Nov-Dec), and Elin Margot - @elin_margot (January), are launching our ever-first residency under the theme: (ooooooooh): THE GIFT! Together, we will explore what it means to give, receive, and occasionally, reject the whole thing. unwrapping: Is a gift truly free, or does it come with hidden obligations? It can be as small as a compliment or as grand as a chandelier: sometimes tangible, sometimes just a lingering idea, like the vague sense that you owe someone dinner. A gift can unite or divide, be both selfless and self-serving… By the way: the cute machine, you see in the pics, is Rec-s (pronounced /Rex, if you’re feeling friendly), our ever-curious, always-listening, and delightfully unpredictable team member at paskamer.
