alienation has been my close companion for as long as i can remember. ever since my music career kicked off, i always struggled to find my category. in a world where art „must“ become tailored to a quantified target audience, i‘ve decided to turn inward towards what moves me. the result, as per usual, falls right in the middle of things. not commercial enough for the big stages, not alternative enough for a certain kind of „underground“ :-)
in recent years i’ve become enamoured with a feeling of having built my own space, cultivating passion for a wide spectrum of music.
sidelines is about getting comfortable in exactly that spot. watching from afar and being grateful to let the torments of ego and belonging in a box behind.
thank you to my old friends @lautundluise for their trust. i couldn’t have found a better home for these tunes.
thank you to my friend @valerio_meuli for the beautiful linoleum print that is the artwork for the EP. thank you to my dearest @jackharoldyoung for the photography. and thank you 🫵🏼 for listening <3
i got to perform live for arte concert last week ☺︎ it was quite wild for me to have this opportunity, since i grew up watching arte on TV and had always been fascinated by their content. so to play and sing my own songs was really special. the full set should be on @arteconcertde youtube channel any moment now, i will post it to my story and link in bio ✨
thanks to everyone that tuned in live last week, left comments and asked questions for the interview :-)
and massive thanks to @ffg_routing and @thenoiseoftimeofficial for their mindblowing analogue visuals performance.
& thanks for the support @musikbuerobasel

Back with the @blooplondon family… and this one carries meaning.
On April 8th, we welcome @avemsounds for a one-hour journey from 4–5PM.
Born in Basel with Spanish and French roots, AVEM’s sound moves freely across electronica — blending driven synths, eerie textures, field recordings and dreamy vocals into something deeply personal. A true artist in every sense, shaping not only music but also the visual world around it.
From his early live debut at Kater Blau to stages across Vienna, Paris, Oslo and New York… to the release of his debut album Dream State on LOKD — his path has always been about expression without boundaries.
For us, this one feels full circle.
When we first started exploring our downtempo journey, his sound was already there… quietly guiding, inspiring, opening doors. The kind of music that stays with you long after the moment passes.
So having him with us now, on the radio, feels right.
A space to slow down, tune in, and drift together.
🎧 8th April
⏰ 16:00–17:00 (UK)
📡 Live on Bloop London Radio
