Welcome to the year 5789 from the Beginning of Times, also known as the Solar year of 1396, and 2038 after the birth of Christ. The anthropocene of today has reached a critical juncture. A society split apart by algorithmic realities that reinforce our prejudices, rather than the threads of compassion. Some argue that the growing disparity is fueled by AI, which deepened the chasm of the socio-cultural inequality that existed before. Others blame those who have alienated themselves and their people by failing to ‘keep up’ with the techno-race.
Historians called it an era of hyper-individualized society, the internet called it “the new pandemic”. Here at Ekarasa Initiative, a private mental care facility, our mission is simple: to guide souls toward peace, transcending the bounds of culture, creed, or class. While we may not have all the political or economic solutions to the problems of the world, we consider ourselves a sanctuary where technology serves as a tool for healing rather than division.

I‘m deeply engaged with the phenomenon of feedback loops and cycles. This principle permeates various systems, whether they are ecological, technical or social. Through a transdisciplinary perspective, I am to contribute to a deeper understanding of these mechanisms that bind our world.

I'm working on a series in which I explore feedback systems. I've become obsessed with feedback in both video and music. Subsequently, I began to explore other disciplines where feedback systems play a crucial role, such as climate, water, biology, economics, and social studies. Every time I sit down to start a new video synthesis patch, I gradually realize the boundaries of the systems and understand how much saturation they can withstand. It's this continual act of balancing.
