2025: “life is crushing in on me…life can be beautiful.” // 🙂↕️🪄✨

I did the damn thing this year. All of it.
.
I said “yes” to everything - clients, projects, friends, trips.
.
In hand with an incredible production team, I sold, designed and produced well over a hundred events this year - weddings, corporate, galas, social - you name it.
.
Layered in, I took a dozen or so trips: New York, California, Miami, Ohio, Missouri, Orlando, New Jersey. The only way I knew how to decompress from how busy my life had become.
.
Admittedly, I burnt out. I did too much. I went the extra mile and then some. I utterly exhausted myself in every avenue. As a result? I didn’t like the person I became for the sake of productivity and “success”.
.
I have so much to be proud of and thankful for - what a privilege it is to live the life I do - creating art and sharing it in moments of beauty.
.
However, as I enter into the new year, my learning lesson is simply “growth”: not “more” - but an “intentional yes”.
.
I think it’s so easy to equate success with volume or endurance. Success is different to all of us. But one thing that isn’t on the table is a compromise to my integrity.
.
Where do I want to be? Who do I want to be? What is going to fulfill me and push my talent and personal growth? Most importantly, how will I make people feel?
.
There is a momentum inside me - worlds of wonder and possibility. I can’t wait to see where that energy takes me.
.
This year, I’m no longer climbing the mountain, “I am the mountain”. 🫶🏻

“Maybe, our mistakes are what make our fate…”. Exactly that. Chicago wasn’t supposed to happen - but it did.

This city has seen it all from me: heartbreak, love, disappointment, friendship, loneliness, healing, resentment, fulfillment, stress…but above it all, gratitude.
.
With fall comes a new season, the turning of a leaf - and ever appreciative of the journey, before and to come. Take a moment to romance the everyday, the “nothing”…it all adds up to a beautiful “something”.
