A little banger with leftover paint from @y0yeska ’s piece from @juntas.hacemosmas Tattooers call “bangers” pieces that can be done quickly and cleanly, so we like to use the same term for pieces we can do in 1 or 2 days. Painted on Avenida Chapultepec in 8 hours on our last day in CDMX. Shoutout to the store owners for permission and employees for the buckets, stool and finding us a ladder. THESE FOUR WALLS - 🫟 Featured Artists: The Jams, Jessica Carmen and Augie WK - Their series of murals, “Play My Entrance Music,” “Canto del Chicano,” “The Jams Jukebox/Chicanismo Playlist 2026,” “Birth of an Emo,” and “When We’re Cruisin’ Together 2026,” collectively represents the Chicano experience through music from the 1940’s through today. Bizare Fest 2026🤘🏽 This “style” of painting colorful pieces that look like stained glass, isn’t just something that I developed suddenly one day. It comes from collecting a lot of colors, lots of different brands of paint. Some old, some new, very different smells sometimes. Every color contributes to the final product. I then try to find some harmony and make all the colors work together, and look pleasing to the eyes. The white outline, to me, multiplies the boldness of the piece, even though I enjoy the clean, no-outline look, I think it works really well here. Shout out all the homies at @bizare_art_festival and especially much love to @bizarebluerain for her role in the culture 🙏🏽 we all play our part, and I’m very proud of my contributions to the art game, I like to think I keep things interesting out here ✌🏽🤘🏽💪🏽 #thejams #augiewk #bizarefest #chicanoart #spraypaintart

🫵🏽Hold the blue bubble and swipe left to right! 👀⚡️ … In a secret underground bunker, in the heart of San Jose, @localcolorsj plots their world domination! Local Color works to encourage unique public art projects, and inspire creativity in all art-lovers. Painted live for @farwestfungievents at the Santa Cruz Mountain Mushroom Fest 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽 I wanted to paint something that tied to @roaringcamp as well as the festival, and I had the bonus idea of adding a “Rat Fink” like character who I call Cat Fink, paying homage to the art of Ed Roth. A lot of people know about Rat Fink, but maybe don’t know it by name, so I had a lot of fun when people knew what I was trying to do with my painting and would come give me a fist bump 👊🏽 Painting the actual roaring camp train was a blast, I like challenging myself to do new things with spray paint, and I always feel like I come away from live painting gigs with more tricks to use next time! 🙏🏽🤘🏽😎 Thanks to everyone who came out to the fest! The remix of the low-low originally painted @writersbench_ alley 😎🎶 We had to revive this piece, having a lot of fun adding some classic Chicano imagery with the chain link frame.
