Thank you the Santa Cruz community for showing up at the @tanneryartscenter today for the annual Spring Art Market!
It was a GORGEOUS day for activities, and it was so much fun hosting a “Color with Me” activity with @riverstudio116 alongside @threadmonsterstudio and her Earring Painting station!
What a blessing to be part of such a thriving art community 🥹
It was so fun coloring pages with so many children in the community and even some friends! Appreciate you @the_elusive_jackalope 🫶🏽
& Special shout out to an old friend, Stephen, for coming out and not only stopping to say hi but also support me by buying an original watercolor painting with a print and my newest linocut piece 🥹🥹🥹
I am eternally grateful to be in this part of my art journey and to be able to be an active member of this art community 😭
What a joy it is to be an artist 💙
We create joy when sometimes there is none to be found ✨
There is a magic we each hold within our creativity, and I will never take that responsibility lightly.
I have seen what art can provide to the human soul and I will do what is within my power to change the world for the better 💙✨
Have a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend, to those who celebrate, to those who grieve, and to those still healing 💙
Nurture each other because we are stronger together ✨

Yesterday’s E A R T H D A Y celebration felt truly special 🌎✨
There was so much artistry and creativity woven into every corner of the day—from the river cleanup to the clothing swap, to the incredible artists, vendors, and interactive offerings. It felt colorful, vibrant, and alive with intention. The addition of live music, DJ sets, and lyrical poetry brought an extra layer of magic, making the whole experience feel immersive and inspiring. 🕊️💞
We’re especially grateful to the @coastalwatershedcouncil and the @officialcityofsantacruz for supporting the river cleanup and showing up to share such important, practical knowledge around recycling and food scrap systems. As we learn and grow together, it felt like everything was in alignment—grounded in a shared commitment to being more conscious stewards of our one Earth.
Even with multiple Earth Day events happening around town, we felt a real sense of growth and expansion this year. New connections were made, circles widened, and the collective love for our planet was undeniable.
So grateful to everyone who showed up, shared their gifts, and helped make this day what it was. We’re already looking forward to next year 💚
