Fall travels Part 3: Snippets of local island life on Dhonfanu, #Maldives. I dove with sharks and mantas amongst a tropical islamic dreamworld. Flying bats, cute birds, and scooters used for moving stuff. I saw a capital city sinking, a women's dodgeball team in abayas, and a captain steer with his foot.
These are remote sandy islands with coral reefs that sit around a giant ocean lagoon. Some are luxury resorts, others uninhibited, but I cherished my time staying with a local village and learning all about the highs and lows of a far away paradise...
Fall travels Part 2: Komodo National Park on a dive voyage with dragons, sleeping on big wooden boats, volcanoes, a wedding, and a dude jammin' on a hill. #indonesia

Helping marine scientists is especially fun when a baby sea turtle comes at you like a puppy and just wants to cuddle. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help save our Caribbean Sea.
