Like a modular puppet master, attowatt connects the cables for his patches, writes the rules and codes by which his synthesizers abide, and then lets the machines take control. His set „The Observer“ unfolds as a contemplative modular epic. Looking for meaning where none was intended. Until I recognized a pattern—not in the sound, but in the gaps between. It matched the spacing of my own logs. Just the rhythm of when I’d been recording.
