Available now! UFGM is a set of Drum Racks available for Ableton Live Suite 12.
The racks are designed to help get ideas going, finish an idea, or even create a whole track.
The download comes with 5 different versions of the same rack. The first rack is made up of 4 percussion sounds (Sub Kick, Kick, Snare, Hat) and 4 Different “Glitch” sounds. Each one of these 8 sounds has one Macro that will control many different elements of the sound.
It may increase impact, start to ratchet, swell, pluck or thump. The idea is to worry less about what exactly is happening and instead listen to the results.
The second rack is the same as the first, but instead of macros there is two more drum pads added. One will randomize all four glitch sounds, the other all four percussion sounds.
The third rack is the same as the first, but with four effects added. Beat Repeat, reverb, shifter, and overdrive. All sounds go through the chosen effect when it is sent a trigger or gate. These effects are the same as the sounds with each one having a single Macro that will change the sounds in interesting, and sometimes, unexpected ways.
The fourth rack is the same as the third, but with randomize pads for the four glitch sounds, four percussion sounds, and four effects. The Final rack collapses all Macros for the sounds and effects into a single Macro.
