One of my favorite @happymonday projects is Spotify’s Best New Artist event that happens annually during Grammy week in LA. We get to bring a really amazing team together, some of the best creators in the world, to create with us. I find so much joy in collaborating with each person on the team - yall are rockstars! The project is a multi capture production with us creating a variety of different assets for Spotify social channels: reels, TikToks, carousels, full event photography, multi cam music videos of each artist performance on stage and a content studio that captures both video and photography portraits of each nominee. Every year I walk away from this project feeling so grateful and in awe of what we are able to accomplish. Thank you to each team member for lending their eye and expertise and for bringing this to life in such a beautiful way. Really proud of the output from this year, some of which is on the @happymonday and @spotify feeds on IG and TikTok and music videos are live in the Spotify app (search for “Best New Artist” in the Spotify app to watch all the videos.) And finally, none of this would be possible without the partnership we have with the entire Spotify team - a truly incredible group of people we closely collaborate with and are so so grateful for them putting their trust in us.

Landed in Tokyo and hit the ground running. Walked around, felt the vibe, hit up a record bar, listened to some good music and ate some yakiniku at a random spot we just walked into. Great way to start the trip and beat the jet lag. Highly recommend popping into @toh_listening_bar curated by @nubian_combo , was well worth the stop to see him do his thing. They don’t exist on any maps, the only way to get a reservation is to DM them after which they’ll send you the location.
