@lalalalisa_m | coachella 2025 Almost a full year ago, I had the opportunity to document @lalalalisa_m ’s Coachella performances. In the midst of hopping right into tour, I never shared it. Better late than never🤘🏽 This was a ton of fun to capture & felt like a finale of sorts to the entire Alter Ego album campaign. I was fortunate to tag along for most of the journey; from the first music video all the way to these debut solo performances in the desert. She absolutely killed it, as always. Cole documenting his journey as he showed love to HBCU’s, sold CD’s, and interacted face-to-face with fans from each city. I’m really proud of the energy we curated with this series from episode 5 to 7. Everything on screen happened 100% organically, and each interaction & story we captured felt grounded, authentic, and human. On one side, you have fans across the country getting to meet their hero for the first time and personally share with him how much his music has impacted their lives through triumph, celebration, adversity, and tragedy. On the other, you have a legendary artist getting to receive his flowers, in real time, from his biggest fans across the country. I think we need more of this energy in the world and I’m super grateful to have been able to document a part of this chapter for J. Cole & package it into episodes that can live forever online.
