Overlook Farm schooling shows are exactly what this sport needs — a welcoming, low-pressure environment to get miles on your horse and just have fun doing what we all love. Whether you're bringing your green bean or brushing off the rust, come on out. We'd love to have you 💚 🎥 @athletux #OverlookFarm #SchoolingShow #TeamOverlook #Eventing #EventingLife #HorseShowLife #GetOutAndRide

Thank you all so much for coming out to the New Vocations Open Barn & BBQ last week! Getting to work with two OTTBs and their riders was so fun — these horses never cease to amaze me. Give them a job, give them a rider who believes in them, and they will show up every single time. 🐎✨ A huge thank you to @newvocationsracehorseadoption for having me — the work you do for these Thoroughbreds after the track is so important and nights like this are a reminder of just how bright their second careers can be 💚 🎥 @athletux #NewVocations #OTTB #RacehorseAdoption #Thoroughbred #SecondCareers #EventingLife

At #K3DE, our team riders showed up and delivered across every phase, every effort, every finish. From cross country to the show jumping ring, they represented the standard of performance, precision, and partnership at one of the sport’s biggest stages. Proud to stand behind our riders, and the horses who make it all possible, every step of the way. 📸 @rauwolfmarketing @athletux #FlairStrips #PerformanceStartsAtTheNose #Eventing #TeamRiders

What an absolute honor it was to spend last weekend at @kentuckythreedayevent judging the CCI5⭐— the pinnacle of our sport, and an experience I will never stop being grateful for. Watching these incredible horse-and-rider combinations tackle one of the most demanding tracks in eventing was nothing short of breathtaking. A huge congratulations to all of the horses and riders! A massive thank you to @dubarryofireland / @dubarry.usa for keeping me stylish and comfortable all weekend long!! 🐴✨🩵 #Kentucky3DE #CCI5* #Eventing #Dubarry 🎥 @athletux

There is a particular warmth to Kentucky Three-Day Event, built on Southern hospitality and a long period as North America’s only 5*. ⸻ A home victory always adds something. Will Coleman and Diabolo’s felt especially fitting — a former winner of Kentucky’s own 4* returning to take the biggest prize, in front of an audience that had followed the story all week. They come not just to watch, but to invest in it. In the United States — particularly in a year without Maryland 5 Star — this is, for many, the one opportunity to compete at this level. And the crowd understands the weight of that. ⸻ From the first walk, the cross-country felt more direct than usual. Derek di Grazia’s lines are often softened visually by the decoration from Sheila Werth and her team. This year, the questions sat a little more plainly in front of you. On excellent ground, only four combinations made the time. ⸻ Showjumping brought a different pressure again. A new designer, drawn from the top level of Grand Prix sport, produced a track that never quite allowed the round to settle. No single moment. Just a sequence of questions, arriving one after another. And yet, under that pressure, the leading group delivered with remarkable precision and yet only David Doel and the evergreen Galileo Nieuwmoed finished on their dressage score. ⸻ Around it all, the familiar rhythm. Conversations resumed. Teams reassembled. A broadcast group working in step, making the complex feel simple. That sort of consistency rarely draws attention to itself. But it is often what allows everything else to land. ⸻ Kentucky has a way of getting the balance right — sport, audience, and atmosphere. And when it does, it creates something that feels bigger than the result alone. 📸 1, 4 & 7 Amy Dragoo for Kentucky Three Day Event #KentuckyThreeDayEvent #Eventing #FEIEventing #EquestrianSport #JohnKyleSpeaks
