COSTA RICA….. Hallelujah 🌊 Back in December I was introduced to surfing, and I never expected to fall so hard for something I’m still learning at every second. Funny how the things that humble us the most can also bring the most joy. I absolutely suck at it… and somehow love it even more because of that. 😂 I’m so grateful for all of the work I’ve done with @nataliehummelcoaching and the freedom that comes with surfing is on another level. There’s something about it that feels so much like riding horses - learning to flow instead of force, feeling timing, balance, rhythm, and trusting the movement beneath you. It’s become such a beautiful reminder to let go, be present, and enjoy the process of life. Eternally grateful for this newfound love and everything it’s teaching me. From California to the East Coast, this trip was nothing short of a massive undertaking. Five competitions, countless miles, multiple horses with individualized plans, and an entire team working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen. There were highs, challenges, adjustments, victories, lessons, and moments that demanded resilience and trust in the process. Through it all, the horses stayed at the center, and our team showed up every single day with determination, professionalism, and heart. Executing a campaign of this size is far more than just competing — it’s logistics, communication, horsemanship, teamwork, and the ability to adapt under pressure. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together and deeply grateful for the owners, supporters, and team members who made it possible. Leaving the East Coast with a full heart, a lot of gratitude, and excitement for what’s ahead. A special thank you to the organizers and everyone who welcomed us with open arms and amazing hospitality!! Loved being a part of our eventing community out east. ❤️🫶

Win the Warm Up 🎯 At Kentucky this week, I joined Eventing Nation and Optimum Time for “Win the Warm Up”, we met right by the dressage warmup to turn those in-between moments into a live learning session for riders and spectators. We took a closer look at the CCI4*-S winner, Tamie Smith’s test with Lillet 3, what stood out in the ride, how the marks reflect the performance, and the small, intentional details that separate good from great at this level. Kentucky - it was a mix of emotions—the highs, the lows, the withdrawals, the tough calls to run or not, to stick to Plan A or shift to Plan C—this is the reality of balancing sport and true horsemanship. The part many never see. It’s not always easy. But it’s what makes it so meaningful. Watching @willcolemanequestrian earn his long-awaited 5* win this week was incredibly special. A performance built on patience, consistency, and class in every phase. No one ever doubted it would happen—it was just a matter of time. Seeing @lizhallidayeventing was emotional. What she’s navigating isn’t easy, but her strength and determination to keep improving and chasing new goals is truly inspiring. A real fighter in every sense. And behind the scenes—our team. The people who make it all happen. Running a big operation is challenging, but it’s 10x more difficult on the road - it takes more than commitment - it takes everything. Long days, constant adjustments, and a shared belief in the horses, the people and the process. There are hard days but we keep showing up for each other, we keep supporting each other, even during tough times because that’s what you do and I’m grateful for this incredible, loyal team that I have surrounded around me. Thank you to all of you who showed up this past weekend. The joy and positive support you bring to the sport. It’s refreshing to meet and see so many incredible fans who love the sport.
