Greya the great. 🏆
Farrington put an end to the 7-year drought since a US rider last won the WEF 12 Grand Prix and become the first #USAJumping winner of the US Equestrian Open Jumping Final.
This is Greya’s 10th career CSI5* Grand Prix/World Cup win, and their first of the year.
Greya has converted 63% of her CSI5* 160 jump-off runs into wins. 16 jump-offs. 12 clears. 10 wins.
Record setters 💪
Tamie Smith and Danito win qualifier 12 of the US Equestrian Open Eventing Series with a top podium finish at the Tryon International Spring Three Day Event CCI4*-S. The duo secured the lowest international dressage score of 2026 and the US Equestrian Open with a 19.5.
Qualifier 13 🔜 Aspen Farms Horse Trials

With the Tyron win on Danito, Tamie Smith stays atop the Open leaderboard.
Her 20-point lead remains unchanged as Will Coleman gained his own points with a second place finish on Off The Record.
Boyd moved up on the leaderboard thanks to his third-place finish on Shanroe Cooley while Caroline Pamukcu, missing this weekend’s Qualifier, drops out of the series top three.
A short series breather follows with the next Qualifier on June 11th at Aspen Farms. 😁
A win in Tryon this weekend would give Will Coleman 220 Open points - enough to definitely take the lead ✨ if ✨ Tamie weren’t entered. But Tamie IS entered with Danito, Kynan & Spiro P - three chances to extend her lead.
The 4*-S in Tryon starts tomorrow (Thursday)! The Fan Guide is live and so is the preview article on our Digital Hub (usequestrianopen.org).
Kevin Kohmann and Famous finished on top in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI3* with a score of 74.635% at TerraNova Dressage III, marking the 19th qualifier in the US Equestrian Open Dressage Series! 🏆
🔜 Qualifier 20 at the Mid-Atlantic Dressage Festival is set for May 14!

For the first time ever, Tamie Smith has taken the Open lead. She’s been on the East Coast since this year’s first Qualifier in March. She’s racked up points in Carolina, Stable View, Ocala, and Kentucky. Now, she’ll return to the West Coast with a deep string and familiar stomping grounds (Rebecca Farm, Twin Rivers and Woodside). She’s going for it. And so far, it’s working.
