Another summer in the island. I always fail to do a post about the natural/ manmade beauties and the general feeling one gets in summer in this beautiful land. Nevertheless, I will try this time...! Leaving this nature, adventures and the friends we make there gets harder every year, but stays as a precious memory that is to be continued!

ARTWORKS Funds ✨ Our exhibition “Collecting with Purpose” has come to an end, and we would like to thank all the artists, galleries, collaborators, supporters and friends who backed our benefit event and visited the show over the past few days. ARTWORKS’ mission could not have been - and will not be - carried out without your affirmation and encouragement. “Collecting with Purpose” served as a call to action: to continue investing in the ideas and projects of artists who inspire, challenge, and shift our perspectives. IT’S BEAUTIFUL HERE (DINNER) CLUB 5th Athens Edition In collaboration with chef @j_pl_r And special guest/meet the artist @marilynceramics 🧡🧡🧡 We hosted our 5th (sold out) dinner club in Athens last weekend, at @katokosmos.studio , the new studio space of ceramicist, @marilynceramics . With a menu inspired by his Portuguese heritage, chef @j_pl_r shared with us a perfectly autumnal and delicious 4-course dinner. @marilynceramics offered guests a quick hand-building ceramics class. Wines were flowing care of @mrvertigo.wine . And the table was set and designed by @athanasioskanakis and @thisisnotaset . All perfectly captured by the extremely talented @kjspots . 🧡 Once again, it was a table full of very good food, wine, people, music, and conversation. All my favourite things. I looked around the table half-way through the evening, and counted - of the 22 guests, we had people from 11 different countries: Australia, Brazil, England, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Lebanon, Moldova, South Africa, Slovenia! A reminder of how interesting and diverse this It’s Beautuful Here community is. And what a special thing it is to bring everyone together in person. This November in Paris, moments from the group exhibition 𝘐𝘯 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺 that I curated which opened on November 10, 2023 at Atelier W. The exhibition was the culmination of a short-term residency supported by #culturemoveseurope and #goetheinstitut Image 1: Exhibition tour on November 11, 2023 as part of @villedepantin first edition of Week-end'art Image 2: Booklets by @reseau_tram Image 3: @n.economides Image 4: @athina_kb Image 5: Parc de la Villette Image 6: @athanasioskanakis studio, working on the press release translation 💜 Image 7: @la_lune_a_faim performing on the opening night In the exhibition, ephemera and photographs act as prompts for the artists, several of whom translate this visual imagery into their artworks or respond to their cues in the form of improvisational scores. Throughout the duration of the residency, the exhibition space functioned as both a studio and a collective gathering space for daily activities, writing sessions, and rehearsals. The artworks on display were produced on-site during the participants’ short-term residency and form an assembly of lived traces in direct dialogue with each other.
