Restoration complete. Presence restored.
After months behind scaffolding, the Hôtel de Cabre, Marseille’s oldest house, has returned to the cityscape following a meticulous restoration led by @rise_promoteur and Archigem.
Atelier Athem developed the scaffold wrap, transforming a technical necessity into a façade intervention that helped support the works while preserving the building’s presence throughout the project.
Next stop in Marseille: a new restoration project on Rue Nationale, near the Alcazar.

Something unexpected has landed on the Champs-Élysées. Soft. Surreal. Unmistakably alive.
Conceived under the artistic direction of Andy Hillman and his team, Atelier Athem brings Moncler’s flamingo to life across the Paris flagship, unfurling along the balcony, slipping into the windows and taking over the façade in one fluid, playful gesture.
Part of Moncler’s global ‘Have a Puffy Summer’ collection, unfolding across cities from Milan during Design Week to Tokyo, a cast of inflatable-like creatures emerges. Octopus, whale, lobster, seahorse, crab, flamingo. Familiar forms, reimagined. Bold, buoyant and beautifully puffy.

An organic gesture at Milano Design Week
For @longchamp , Atelier Athem reshaped the Via della Spiga flagship for the Maison’s collaboration with @patrick.jouin at Milano Design Week. A bespoke textile intervention unfolded from façade to interior, where relief, colour and movement turned the building into a living surface.
From the street to the exhibition space, the scenography created one continuous gesture around the pieces on display. Reusable structures underpin a project designed to last.

En septembre 2026, dans le cadre de la @parisdesignweek , @fabrique_pointcarre et @atelier_athem organisent, en partenariat avec @les_canaux et le @centreculturelsuisse , une série d’événements consacrés au design circulaire et à l’upcycling.
L’exposition de cette édition 2026 présentera des créations à partir de parquets et de toiles enduites (bâches) réemployées pour imaginer les produits, mobiliers et aménagements de la boutique de demain.

In 2025, Atelier Athem supported the restoration of the Fontaine Saint-Michel with a scenographic installation, maintaining the monument’s presence within the Parisian landscape throughout the works — while contributing to their funding.

La Madeleine — Architectural Oddity
From September, La Madeleine will enter a new phase of restoration, this time focusing on its north façade. Atelier Athem will deploy a trompe-l’œil installation across the scaffolding, partially reconstructing the monument’s architecture. At its centre, curated brand expressions will be integrated into the composition, helping to fund the works and support the preservation of this landmark, located along a major axis between Boulevard Haussmann and the Seine.

@2x4design Environments group, in collaboration with their long-time partners at Prada, designed and produced a bespoke, temporary scaffolding structure and skin for the Prada building at the corner of 5th Avenue and 56th Street in New York City.
The meticulously detailed design using standard commercial pipe scaffolding elements reflects the brand’s long-standing embrace of dualities: industrial/refined, functional/decorative, familiar/uncanny. A double-layer, semi-transparent scrim creates a moiré effect that constantly shifts with changing light, weather, and viewing angle. As the sky darkens, a lighting grid aligned with the scaffold seems to dissolve the outer layer, revealing the structural framework beneath.
