During Milan Design Week 2026, the major fashion houses presented some of the most talked-about and compelling projects and installations of the entire event. Among them was the collaboration between Longchamp (@longchamp ) and French designer Patrick Jouin (@patrick.jouin ), marked by a new original creation: the limited-edition Ostara Longchamp x Patrick Jouin lamp. Produced in an extremely limited series of just ten numbered pieces, the project reinterprets the Maison’s iconic Le Pliage bag through micro-perforated leather, soft LED diffusion, and a portable design conceived for contemporary domestic life.

À Milan, Patrick Jouin et Lonchamp créent l’événement avec le lancement de la Capsule Collection, première collaboration entre le designer et la marque familiale créé en 1948.
OSTARA, lampe nomade en édition limitée, travaille le cuir micro-perforée avec élégance et innovation.
Autour, nous retrouvons plusieurs pièces du designers, réinterprétées aux couleurs de Longchamp : les tables DROP et les assises OLO.
Un ensemble construit autour de la couleur, de l’usage et de l’objet.

Avec la Signature Collection, Patrick Jouin développe une série de pièces pensées autour du mouvement et de l’usage.
Une approche directe, héritée de l’ADN de la Maison : artisanat, précision et liberté d’usage.
Le design s’inspire des codes Louis Vuitton : cuir, couture, structure des malles, pour construire des objets à la fois souples et structurés.
Chaque pièce est pensée pour être manipulée, déplacée, utilisée au quotidien.
Le fauteuil Perfecto joue sur cette tension entre maintien et fluidité, avec une housse zippée qui façonne la silhouette.
Le canapé Lagoon s’organise autour d’un dos structuré, enveloppant et accompagnant le mouvement.
Avec la table Puzzle, la marqueterie devient surface vivante.
Et enfin, Regatta explore le tressage du cuir comme un motif architectural.

This design stands as a masterclass in formal fluidity, where the backrest and armrests merge into a single, cohesive silhouette. By prioritizing an uninterrupted line, the design achieves a sculptural purity, offering an enveloping sense of comfort that elevates the high-seated experience.
The discreet gesture of the integrated grip is embedded naturally within the backrest's elegant curve. This allows for effortless movement without ever breaking the visual rhythm or the physical flow of the piece. The sgabello offers a refined dialogue between ergonomics and minimalism, where the user's practical needs are met through the quiet, sophisticated form itself.
